Zion City Hall — Attraction in Zion

I went to Zion City Hall to renew our building compliance certificate. Angela was wonderful in explaining that the rules have changed. The certificate of compliance is required only for Section 8 rentals. And you can get the certificate for only those units. For example, if you have 4 units and 2 are rented to Section 8, then only those 2 units rented to Section 8 need the compliance certificate. Game changer. And this makes so much sense. I am gonna praise the mayor and his team for making this common sense change. Now I could rant here about how it never made sense, given the reasoning provided, but I won't. This administration did not implement the compliance certificate. I will end positive..thank you...

The staff here was polite and friendly. The Town of Zion is not welcoming of visitors. DO NOT PARK ON THE STREET. You can get a ticket for parking on streets other cars are parked on, (outside of the 2am-6am no parking law) even if it isnt posted youre not allowed to park there. There is no way to know other than look up and read the laws individually and for a guest of that area thats not practical to read all the laws and bylaws...

This people need to know that they are humans like all citizens of this city of Zion, when they talk to you about anything you feel the fear right away, they need to be educated, work for the people of Zion means WORK FOR PEOPLE! This isn’t a military base , we are civilians with rights , freedom...
