So I heard about this place through a friend that has 3 kids, I have a 5 year old and a baby. So I took my son 2 days ago here it's a nice place, clean, and it really is free you just have to show your ID. They say on their website to bring your own socks for your kid, as usual the kids have to have socks going through the indoor playground equipment. I noticed they do have some socks in basket right inside the entrance that you grab to use while your there, they are cleaned is what I read. However, the only thing I seen wrong while I was there was the floor of place is a very smooth thin type of carpet that I kept seeing little kids slipping on in their socks. One little girl fell slipped and hit her nose. The type of sock needed for this place is the grippy socks. I have taken my son to Monkey Joe's, Urban Air, Get Air, and Kid's Planet which make you buy those grippy socks for a reason is because the floor and the equipment can be slippery to kids running in regular socks. I made sure to make my son wear the grippy socks he had no problem with slipping, so I'd just say to parents to make your kids wear the grippy socks for these types of places. Other than that this place should tell parents to put their kids in the grippy socks. I'm not sure if the socks by the inside entrance are of the grippy type, I don't think they were, but they should be. Other than that this is a nice place and a nice service to the public from the church. Hope they keep it around for...
Read moreI have a really hard time finding somewhere to take all of my children ranging in age from 9-18(6 of them full time but 7 on the weekends, then friends at times as well😏)but the 6 I took today 9,10,11,13,15&17 absolutely LOVED it. There were a couple times my older 2 boys made the comment, "can we go now?" But ended up going back out after I said, "yea, let your brother and sisters know they have 15 min to finish up." Had to remind them a few times to be mindful of little ones but they did much better than I anticipated 😏🥰! The place was clean and had an area to bring our drinks and snacks separate from play area but you can still see the play area. My only suggestion would honestly be that I wish it could have a little more space for a place for older children to be able to have "room" to run and play(tag,parcore,etc...)as well. All in all though they still had a load of fun just the way it is! The bonus for me was that I was also able to have fun and enjoy laughs, burn calories, play ball, etc with my children and also was blessed with fellowship and to hear someone else's testimony/story and be able to share part of mine 🥰 God is so good and we were most definitely blessed by this...
Read moreMy kids loved it! Ok, this place is awesome! 1st, if you are in the area with kids, it's FREE for them to play. You just have to scan if it's 1st time to register your family. Then, when you come in door to check in, you get name tags, and there is someone ( church workers) always watching the door so your kids can't leave area without you. It's safe. They have cubby spots for your shoes. They have chairs and tables and bench areas to sit. (They kinda need some more.) I had to wait about 10 minutes to get a seat. It's FREE! You are allowed to bring in drinks and food with you. They just ask that none go into the playground area. Also, clean up after yourself when done. They have bathrooms in the play area and water fountain area and water bottle refill area. It is a very big area for kids to play. It's indoors, so no matter the weather outside, they will have a place to play. They definitely get a workout. We will definitely be coming back when we are in the area. It is really nice. Thank you for the church having this available to the area. Other churches need to do things like this...
