The mature African American female in the teal shirt was super silent, working dedicated in the back to the left and mean-mugging all the way in the back but the myth is the meaner the working woman the softer she is internally as the real person; the young European American female in the pink hoodie in the front working hard also with glasses was stern and kind of mean too so the same woman myth applies in this instance; women are known to be more managers in the food industry so maybe the front had a manager and the back? 🤷 The young African American male in the front smiled the whole way while upbeat pace and on-point with the order. The young African-American male in the back with partial white, bearded and mustache seemed to be keeping the kitchen on locked from that section and appeared to be happy. Now why does all of this matters? You need to know how the food will turn out and could be prepped basically first impression is the last impression. The Popeyes was great by presentation in the boxes, beyond room temperature, clean and photo on television noteworthy. Not much talking between the team there which probably played a crucial role in the good Popeyes. Clean counters and the people in all looked clean and groomed. If the two females were to smile I believe Popeyes' energy would have been extremely out of this world because everyone knows when women are smiling at work you know business is booming...

DO NOT PLACE PICKUP ORDER! I arrived on-time for my pickup order and waited in line for the cashier. The kind woman told me my order would be right up. I waited nearly 25 minutes, watched as other people were serviced, and still waiting. I asked again if my order will be prepared. The kind cashier looked thru the system along with the bald, toothless white man packing the orders. They scrolled back many orders to find mine. Then the man went behind the counter and handed me a bag that had been there since I arrived. I kindly asked if they could remake it, as I arrived on time and this was simply an accident that I wasn’t handed the food sooner. The man refused to remake it. I asked again, saying that I was waiting for 25 minutes and it had just been sitting there ready. He said something with his back turned to me. Anyways I got a full refund and a coupon for a free 6pc wing meal but this all could’ve been avoided had he handed me the order when I arrived or remade it when I asked. The cashier was very sweet and...

I enjoy the food and it’s the only thing I like about the place. Each and every time I go in there I’m fixated on the workers behind the counter to see why ordering takes SO SO long!😖 Someone in the upper brass needs to go there and investigate just how nothing flows in the kitchen. The 2 people up front are running around trying to get orders out and not doing it very well- meanwhile the 2 or 3 people in the back are either sitting and doing nothing or even standing around talking to each other while the line continues to grow!😖 On any given day you can see 2 or 3 cars in the parking lot, but when you go inside there are 10 people in line…never fails! This staff is unorganized and management there hasn’t figured out how to divide up work between those that are sitting in the back - very unbalanced! I spent 15 yrs in kitchen efficiency and I could clear this...

For starters, I'm not especially thrilled with the price point of their platter: $20 for 3 pieces of fast food chicken, bland coleslaw, and (admittedly very tasty) beans and rice, biscuit, and drink. Feels about $5 too high. The chicken was somewhere between fresh and stale, hot and cold. Mediocre. Didn't hate it. Didn't love it. I think the fact that the beans and rice were by far the most enjoyable part of the meal speaks volumes. Unfortunately, the Country Pride next door is shut down. Oh the employees and service were NOT the issue. They were fast, friendly, and running a smooth ship. They did their jobs just fine. I probably should've just stuck with the safer chicken sandwich.

The first time I came here, I thought the amount of time we waited was a fluke because they were so busy. This time, there were barely any people. We waited an hour the last time and 30 minutes this time. I think extremely slow and unmotivated is their mission statement. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Unless you love wasting your time. If you fancy waiting the time it would take to prepare a well-done steak on mediocre fast food, then this particular Popeyes is right up your alley. UPDATE: I finally looked at my food and my sandwich, which took 30 minutes to get, looked like it had been ran over by a car. I asked for my money back. We’ll see if I get it.

I will never eat @ Popeyes again! This was in Indianapolis, In. I ordered the 5 pc tenders. I asked for & showed this to the manager. She asked what it was & when told it was a 🐔 tender, she proceeded to argue that it wasn't a tender & that it was just chicken! She even went as far as to bring a raw tender to say that it wasn't a tender! IDC eat you call it because it was BLACK! She offered to cook sone more. I declined, choosing instead to get my 💶 back. The worst part is that because they were short-handed, "The Manager was Cooking"!!
