Friendly staff and well appointed clean modern apartment with great views. Beds were comfortable and the apartment was spotless and well maintained. Kudos to the housekeeping and maintenance staff.||The development also has a Starbucks and grocery store in the Oxygen Mall right next to the Hotel. There are also a couple of other malls within a 5 min taxi ride. Very convenient. ||We travelled from the airport to hotel via Grab app private hire car and it cost less than VND200k. Inexpensive and convenient. ||Travel to attractions in the city was fuss free with a daily free shuttle bus provided by the hotel. Driver was helpful and friendly. ||All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, including the security at the front door. Myself and my family, with 2 children (9 & 14) stayed here for two nights. At first we had to change rooms as the second room was a double which isn't ideal for kids to share. But the Apartment/Hotel staff, who were excellent, got us another room ASAP. The hotel is located quite far in district 2 but an easy(ish) taxi or complimentary shuttle bus, to HCMC central. Also the breakfast is at Starbucks, you are given a voucher for this. This wasn't clear when we booked the Hotel. Again the staff were very accommodating and advised us they would update their info on the website. The Somerset Vista offers nice and spacious rooms, or rather apartments. My room was 120m2, so very spacious! When I stayed there the swimming pool was just under reconstruction. They offered me to go to another hotel and taxi transport was arranged free of charge.|2 Major drawbacks of this hotel: There is no restaurant and also no breakfast. I booked with breakfast and they offered a voucher for the nearby Starbucks with far too low value for a normal breakfast. Not what you expect when booking a 5 star hotel. Further take into account that the area around the hotel is not nice and dangerous to walk around, because you can often only walk on the roads.
