I booked this boutique hotel in Thảo Điền to understand why so many people love this area, and it did not disappoint. Tucked away on a quiet street, the location is fantastic, just steps away from an abundance of eateries, coffee shops, and charming little shops. What stood out to me most was the atmosphere; unlike the more tourist-heavy parts of the city, Thảo Điền has a real community feel. As you walk around, you see families going about their day, kids on bikes, and glimpses of local life that make the neighborhood feel warm and lived-in.
Beyond that, the area is brimming with unique restaurants, countless coffee shops, and elegant boutique hotels, giving it a stylish yet welcoming charm. It’s not the cheapest area to stay, but it’s so pleasant that it feels worth it.
The room was small but perfectly functional for my stay. The shower had excellent water pressure, the toilet worked without issue, and while there was a small kitchen, I never needed it—Vietnamese food is so affordable and delicious that I happily ate out for every meal.
The WiFi was strong, the air conditioning worked like a dream, and though my ground-floor room didn’t have much of a garden view, it was more than sufficient for my needs. Overall, a great stay, and I’d absolutely...
Read moreUnbelievable! I forgot my jacket and phone strap in the room before leaving. When I returned to pick up my luggage, I asked the receptionist about them, but she said they weren’t found. How is this possible? I clearly remember taking my jacket out of my luggage and leaving it on the couch. I also removed my phone strap to charge my phone and placed it on the bed. Haha, if you stay here, make sure not to forget anything—you probably won’t get it back! I booked two rooms, and one of them had a wine bottle and a glass left on the kitchen counter, along with a dead cockroach in the toilet. 🥲 Did you even clean the room before we checked in? When I checked in, I was told everything outside the fridge was complimentary. However, during checkout, the receptionist charged me for a cup of instant noodles—even though my friend’s room was free of charge. What kind of inconsistent standard is that? Lol.
Never coming back to...
Read moreNegative review. Disappointed: When I checked in I asked to order a drink from their menu. They didn't have it. Its a Lemon / Lime Soda in Vietnam:) Keys didn't work in the room Cant use the bath due to the hot water only working for 3 minutes Toilet has a bad smell and I think they closed off the area in glass to try to limit this First day they didn't clean the room, when I asked in the afternoon they did it but I had to leave the room Second day I asked at 7.30pm in the morning to clean my room, returned at 6.30pm and still not cleaned, went downstairs to complain with no real results, until 90 mins later when they came to offer a towel etc.
Wouldn't recommend to stay here at all.
