Description
Victoria Falls is a town in western Zimbabwe and a gateway to the massive waterfall of the same name. Here, the Zambezi River plummets over a cliff and into the Boiling Pot before flowing through a series of gorges. The Devil’s Pool, a natural infinity pool, is on the edge of a sheer drop. Spanning the river is 1905 Victoria Falls Bridge. The surrounding Zambezi National Park is home to white rhinos and elephants.

There is a lot to do whilst visiting Victoria Falls. We did the falls walk through the spray with SPECTACULAR views. Fees for locals is very affordable, but I must admit we were shocked that fees are SO high for visitors to the country!! A HUGE difference between the fees and unnecessary as far as I am concerned. We want to encourage tourists and not frighten them away! We supported the CANOPY TOUR which was awesome fun - stunning views and a super adventure. We also supported the Crocodile Farm and did a tour there (you can also book to dive with crocodiles there) and watched the Vulture feed at the Safari lodge. We loved the Lookout Restaurant as well. In the past, we have also done the helicopter flight which is just wonderful, but we didn't do this this time - always careful of the pocket!! But Vic Falls has SO much on offer. We stayed for 2 days - if you want to do more activities - The Boma dinner/bungee jump/gorge swing/flying fox - and more - the list is endless - then stay another...

All 14 points of viewing the water fall was amazing. Creation at it's best, Jehovah is even greater for creating the heavens and the earth. The experience was breath taking. Tour guides are very professional. Respect for animals and the environment is very crucial at this area, I admire...

National Park a must (€30pp Jan 23). Lowest flow is November causing less spray giving better view although less spectacular photos. Maximum flow March to May - lots of spray and seriously wet! You can walk over the bridge with just a chit from Zimbabwean immigration. Great views of the...

Breathtaking! If you plan on walking each point, wear a swimsuit, bring an umbrella and/or raincoat because you will get absolutely soaked at/after point 11 or 12. Wear sneakers or hiking shoes, it's not rough terrain but best for walking the trails there. Have fun!

Recommend visiting when cooler out so early morning as you can get very hot from all the walking and not many opportunities to fill up water. It is very beautiful and I would recommend visiting from both sides as you get different views.
