Marula Cafe — Restaurant in Victoria Falls Municipality

Food was great but might have to pay more attention in a big group when it comes to billing as at least 2 of us out of a group of 12 to 15 had calculation errors erring on the side of more when it comes to paying. For my friend, she managed to calculate on the spot. For us, we told them what we ate and the bill came to 60 usd, which we paid without question but working this out the next day, it just does not tally. A whole 14 usd discrepancy???

Did not realize we had to handhold her manual calculation. For my friend, she managed to resolve the error on the spot.

Unfortunately my tired husband just paid the bill assuming the tallying was correct.

Ostrich parmigiana 17 usd + crusted bream 17 usd + energizer fruit juice 2 × 3 usd + beers 3 usd x2 = 46 usd. So we paid 60 usd and tipped 5 usd.

So where did the 14 usd amount to? Not sure but our group told us they paid their fair share of their meals. So I hope we weren't the only ones who overpaid on bills.

P.s. we did ask to separate the billings per couple but they don't do that for...

Fantastic menu. Food is so fresh and absolutely delicious. I had the falafel quinoa bowl for lunch ($12) it was a big portion and prepared and plated beautifully. There are a fair amount of vegetarian options on their lunch and dinner menu. They have a different menu for dinner, which I definitely want to try next time. The decor is brilliant, and has a tropical vibe to it. The restaurant is spacious and has bespoke large wooden tables for comfortable dining. They have great cocktails and also has a water bottle refilling station (no charge for the water refill) this is one of the prettiest restaurants in Vic Falls and the service is outstanding. The waitresses are friendly and welcoming....

Food tastes not bad but measley and stingy. I got the sourdough breakfast, I can't believe it's only 1 singular slice of bread that is as thin as hair. Service is also horrible, no smile and looks upset when there is no tip and keep rushing to clear the plates. The lady with the long red braided hair was so rude with no smile and no thank you no nothing. I felt unwelcomed. The wifi also does not work at all, giving the assess code that does not work. I have to give it 1 star as I was expecting a lot from it's overall 4.6 stars. Completely utter disappointment and turn...
