Okay the hotel rooms themselves are decent, they’re not horrible but I spent over 250$ usd for 2 days and they’re not exactly high end. What you’re paying for here is location.
The people working the front desk were VERY FRIENDLY, gave good advice and spoke very passable english. As a non Spanish speaker they were able to help me with no issues and gave good advice. Honestly I’m glad I asked them for advice instead of google and ChatGPT since they gave me better advice. I had no issues with them and they were great.
The location is amazing, it’s easy to take public transport from there, if you walk you’re in a good spot and the taxis are not too expensive to get wherever you want to go from here. The location is prime and what you’re mainly paying for
The room itself… eh, it’s a hotel room, I stayed on a lower floor facing the street and the street wasn’t too loud during the week when I stayed there. The view non existent unless you’re on the 6th or 7th floor where breakfast is held or one of the upper rooms. Breakfast goes until around noon, if there’s no one up there it will close early. The breakfast is good but the room is just, it’s nothing special. You’re paying for the location honestly.
So overall is it worth 250 usd for 2 nights? For me no, I wanted to give 5 stars but I realized while the price is good for the USA I am in Argentina and I looked at nearby places and found hotels I would have been happy with for cheaper. It’s honestly a good spot, I don’t hate it. They give you gym passes to a nearby gym, the location is good but I just don’t know if it’s worth the price. If I had 1 complaint it’s that checkout is at 10 AM and check in is at 2 PM. Besides that I don’t think you’ll be disappointed staying here but don’t expect it to exceed expectations. Also WiFi is good here and...
Read moreHotel located in the bustling area of Palermo, young vibes and plenty of eateries and bars to choose from.
Check-in/out process smooth and simple. Front desk was helpful enough to give us tips on where to go out in Buenos Aires and sight seeing. Recommend going to Plaza Mayo and La Boca districts and walking in the area.
Comfy rooms, beds, pillows and very soft towels in the bathrooms.
Breakfast was mediocre. Would like to have seen an omelette/pancake station, more vegetarian choices and fresh bread and croissants made on the day rather than being served stale bread. Also there should be alternatives to milk products such as almond milk, oat milk, etc for people with intolerances.
The pool is closed off for the season and will reopen in December as informed by front desk staff. I was also told that i can take a dip in the pool, but the hotel would not be responsible of anything that would happen to me in case of any accident. When I booked the hotel room there was no...
Read moreWe stayed close to two weeks ending in August 22, 2024, at the Wyndham Dazzler hotel, Palermo neighborhood, in Buenos Aires. The hotel is small and ,oldest in looks but packs a great value. The rooms are clean and tidy, room service is prompt, breakfast is very modest but VERY fresh and coffee is great! Location is on a quiet street, not touristic, but walking distance for. Amazing restaurants and amenities. We loved it. But the real advantage is the staff. They are ALL very courteous and polite and go out of their way to help in Every Possible Way, recommending places and assisting with transport and bookings. Although they are all great, I want to single out Tomas. Divita, who, being a young man himself, advised my children on places of interest to them. Very professional and helpful in every possible way.||||I want to thank all the staff again. It was. Memorable trip nd we do hope to repeat...
