Service is slow & bad yet they charge you 10% for it. If you’re going to charge for service I shouldn’t have to order at the counter, or get my own condiments from the counter, or have to get up and ask for water. That’s me paying 10% to serve myself, the only service I received was them putting my food on the table. They might as well just leave my food at the counter, yell my name and I’ll go get that myself too. The food was not bad at all but it’s overpriced compared to all the other cafes in town & I’ve been to 5 of them. UN pan de queso 700 pesos. Entramos y salimos ese primer día. Después nos fuimos acostumbrando a que todo sea carisimo en el El Chalten y volvimos un día de mucho viento a tomar algo calentito. Los chocolates (blanco y negro) estaban bien, aunque el blanco estaba frío y hubo que pedir que lo calentaran. No pedimos pan de queso porque nos seguía pareciendo carisimo. Pedimos una porción de torta de frutos rojos para compartir, a 1200 la porción, cara pero más acorde a los precios estándar. Sin embargo la decepción vino cuando nos dimos cuenta de que en realidad era de manzana "teñida" de rojo con algunas frutitas. O sea, te la venden como de frutos rojos y te la inflan con manzana. No estaba fea pero me parece desleal. Ambiente muy bonito. Atención, más o menos. Hay que acercarse a la barra a pedir y luego te traen. Si bien el lugar es chico, solo había una encargada muy jovencita y una camarera para todas las mesas, más jovencita e inexperta. Mínimamente hay que enseñarle cuestiones básicas de servicio, como aprenderse los números de las mesas para entregar los pedidos correctamente. Horrible service ! When I walked in I was hoping to have a nice coffee and charge my phone before going on a hike . The lady was rude and pointed out some outlets that didn’t even work . She brought us the menu and then from behind the counter asked for us to get up and hand it to her so “it wouldn’t get dirty “ …. Then when asked for a to go box she was extremely dismissive and looked annoyed …...
