Mini-hotel "Sweet Home" — Hotel in Dilijan

This was a perfect accommodation experience, starting with the location, through the friendliness of the hostesses, and of course the physical comfort of the property. The location is a minute's walk up a minor hill from the center of Dilijan -- and the center has a large modern supermarket, a community center that organizes many events including free cultural events that tourists are welcome to attend, and a couple of restaurants/coffee shops that are popular with the local crowd and with travelers. Next, Lena and Seta are the perfect hostesses, always making sure the guests are happy, aren't hungry, have ideas for things to do, and know how to get where they need to go. They are honest people, caring is in their nature, and even after just three nights a bond with them had formed as though with family. Finally, the facilities were of a high standard of comfort, including a modern shower, a large and pretty outdoor relaxation area, and a super strong and fast WiFi connection. The breakfast was sumptuous, the other guests warm and welcoming, and even the neighbors are helpful. Again, a perfect experience....

Sweet home is place to stay! I miss that place so much! Me and my husband got lucky with our choice with Sweet home back in 2015. And we're back in 2018:) We are fussy persons especially when it comes to clean places to stay at and Sweet home was one of the cleanest. Rooms are huge,had double bed that could actually fit 3 people in it easy. Bed, Linens was so fresh,clean and had beautiful fragrance smell. Its cozy house. Big private kitchen with all necessary appliances. Big balcony with mountain view. Host Lena is amazing person,she treated us and looked after us as like we are part of a family. Such a comfortable and happy atmosphere. Was absolutely nothing to pick on and complain about. Im a bit surprised that price was not high for place like that,i have lots of experience with hotels and place like that usually would cost more but Sweet home is 10 out of 10 and still affordable. Positive; Lena, the lady that runs the place, is lovely,very friendly and helpful,even though we communicated with google translate, she speaks Armenien and Russian, we don’t, nonetheless we managed. The breakfast she served was excellent and excessive, we took some of it on our mountain hike. Negative; Small things, our door didn’t lock, the carpets aren’t fixed, which makes for quite a slippery surface, our double bed was not designed for two average sized Danes,the place is quite difficult to find, and lastly, the price, we think it’s expensive for what it is, but accommodation in Dilijan isn’t cheap, the little Switzerland tag isn’t only for the...
