The worst service we've ever experienced.

The QR code menu was incomplete — many dishes available in the kitchen were missing from the menu. The waiters had zero knowledge about the food. We ordered a beef striploin, but instead, we received pork chops. When we asked to replace the dish, the waiter insisted it was beef, not pork.

That was strange, because anyone who eats meat can easily tell the difference between pork and beef. I asked the waiter to bring someone else to try and confirm. Then the restaurant’s founder came to our table with the same plate and aggressively tried to convince us it was beef. I kindly asked her to try it herself before making such claims. She replied that she’s vegan or vegetarian and doesn't eat meat — yet she kept insisting it was beef and that they wouldn’t remove it from the bill.

I kindly told her that I had no issue paying, but asked that someone else try the dish to confirm, because I didn’t want to be treated like an idiot or liar. It was a matter of principle for me.

She then called her husband (also vegan/vegetarian 😄) and finally an honest staff member, who agreed to taste the meat. After trying it, he confirmed that it was indeed pork.

However, the founder began yelling at the honest staff member, saying she didn’t believe him and that it was beef. She returned to our table and told us never to come back.

I strongly advise avoiding this restaurant if you don’t want to deal with aggression and a delusional founder.

Very Disappointed – Not the Same Kjuj Anymore

We used to love visiting Kjuj – the food was delicious, the service was friendly, and everything felt welcoming. Unfortunately, our recent experience at their new location was extremely disappointing.

The service was the worst we’ve ever had there. We waited almost an hour for our food – and the drinks took just as long. There were only 2 or 3 waiters working, and it was clear they were overwhelmed and the staff simply couldn’t handle the size of the new place.

When the food finally came, it was not tasty at all, and to make things worse – we found a hair in one of the dishes. The tableware was dirty, which was very off-putting. The entire experience felt rushed and unhygienic.

It’s really unfortunate, because we used to enjoy this restaurant, but I can’t recommend the new Kjuj location to anyone right now. They are not ready to handle such a big space or large number of guests. Hopefully, they...

Okayish food but it took first half an hour before someone even came. Afterwards, it was 1.5 hours before they realised they told us they had forgotten that we ordered a kchuch (which takes an hour to make). Since it was already 21 by then they didn't want to make another one. No excuses were given. Besides that we had an absolutely disgusting mushroom with BLUEBERRY sauce.. who even thinks of this?? All the rest of our food was also given one by one as well.. which is weird if you order side dishes? We don't want to eat just raw potatoes. Why would you give these separate to our main courses ? Finally our ordered tea was cold and just a packet. Desserts were nice though, especially the fruit gata. The rest was mediocre at best. If you want a good restaurant in Delijan, go...
