While I seldom leave negative reviews, this experience regrettably necessitates one. I ordered a chicken wrap, which took some time to prepare – a delay I didn't mind. However, the restaurant's tables were cluttered with dirty dishes, hinting at potential understaffing, an issue I'm sympathetic towards.
The chicken wrap itself was generously filled with chicken, which was satisfactory. However, it was overwhelmed by an excessive amount of partially cooked onions, which seemed intended to be caramelised but fell short of that mark. As a fan of onions, I decided to give it a chance, especially since I was quite hungry.
Regrettably, with each bite, an excessive amount of oil began to seep out, quickly pooling onto my plate. Despite my hunger and reluctance to complain, the experience deteriorated with the overwhelming presence of onions and oil, which made the meal increasingly unpalatable and messy.
For context, just the day before, I had enjoyed a chicken wrap from Zeus, which was delightful. In contrast, this wrap was so soaked in oil that I half-jokingly considered returning it for use in their deep fryer. However, I realised that the staff were not to blame for this culinary mishap.
Ultimately, I was unable to finish the wrap and left the restaurant feeling disappointed. This is the lowest rating I've ever given to a business, and I do so without any regret. My hope is that the restaurant takes this feedback constructively and improves their wrap preparation to avoid causing stomach...
Read moreI took my young family here thinking we would try a ‘nando’s style’ experience and I was wrong. The outdoor seating area should have been a give away. Plates of food left on nearly every table and not in a considerate way but as if out of the food fight scene in Hook. Tissue paper or ‘napkins’ strewn about the floor. Our table appeared clean but had that unmistakable film of grease covering it you only noticed upon touch. Okay, I can deal with a less than desirable ambiance, the food should redeem this place… I mean charcoal and chicken, what could go wrong? Oh… the ‘grilled chicken’ burger and ‘chicken wrap’ went all kinds of wrong. Shredded pieces of chicken and cartilage shaped into a pattie and then smothered in a goo masquerading as BBQ sauce. The ‘emaciated lamb ribs’ were a wrestling match in your mouth with many textures you don’t want to experience in a bite of meat. The salad was passable and the best dish on the table… my son’s literally street fought over… nuggets and chips. Oh how a plate of nuggets and chips looked so good! The servers were nice, 2 stars for their efforts. No photos taken as we were ‘in the moment’ attending to the children’s strong emotions but the experience has stayed with me.. enough to write a Google...
Read moreAttention: Owner We visited the restaurant on the 30th of May with friends to have dinner. Food arrived cold and the rice was too salty for all of us. My friend who invited us for dinner decided to inform it to the restaurant staff. The lady who was on the shift had the worst attitude that I have ever seen in my life. Her response was “ you are the first person complained today. We checked early and it was not salty and we only have this rice we don’t have anything”. She had a very sour attitude. I went and told them do not accuse your customers for lying. Try to provide a solution. After that there was another guy came and said that the food could be salty for you but not for us. But he said either we can give you a refund or provide something else instead of rice ( He tried to provide a solution). We were not after refunds or anything just wanted to inform that the rice was salty. We said we didn’t want anything but try to understand your customers complaint and provide a solution rather than accusing your customers.
We won’t go...
