UPDATE: After posting this review I received a response from the store manager with a satisfactory explanation and resolution. Happy with the service from him so I've updated my rating to 3 stars.
Another day, another bad experience.
On the 11th of July, my partner ordered a bowl (double beef) and 2x Dos Capas from this store between 9:30 - 10 PM. He was served by a young boy that did not understand his order at all and therefore my partner had to repeat each part of the order at least 3 times.
My partner gave the boy $50.15 for the $23.15 order. He received $25.85 change. My partner explained how the change situation worked. The boy gave him $1 back. My partner accepted this out of sheer frustration at this point.
Upon returning home he was frustrated once AGAIN, because he only received 1 Dos Capas not the 2 he was expecting. He paid $23.15 which at the time he thought was correct as we were unaware the double beef was +$4.
This isn't the first time the staff have gotten an order wrong - it really shouldn't be up to the customers to double and TRIPLE check orders and then AGAIN check the order when receiving it.
Would definitely recommend buddy shifts for this particular staff member and keeping a calculator near the till. In addition perhaps revamping the hiring process to include a basic maths test and some role playing.
Feedback sent to the store via email on 12/7 however they haven't bothered...

For lunch today i had ordered a regular nachos with beef lettuce corn tomato and red onion with extra sour cream and garlic sauce and no guacamole, it was an online on that my colleague went and picked up for all of us, when i opened my nachos, it was completely wrong had no corn no onion no lettuce a little bit of sour cream no garlic sauce and COVERED in guacamole, i’m highly allergic to guacamole, i had to leave work and drive back, i waited for ages for someone to come to counter along with a small family that was also waiting, i was greeted by a guy, no hello no nothing “what’s wrong with it” is all i got, i told him what was wrong and he just stared said he’d talk his manager about it, was gone for a good ten minutes and me and this family were stood waiting, keep in mind they weren’t even being served. Once he came back out i didn’t any apology i just got “here” in such a rude tone, i checked it and yet again was wrong but i didn’t have the time to wait for ages again, i got back to work sat down and started eating, overall food wasn’t horrible until i saw a black hair at the bottom of my nachos, ew. This is actually so gross, Normally i’m really happy leaving here but today is the reason i won’t be coming...
Read moreThis is literally the worst Zambrero in Perth. I mean I know they've not been open that long but each time I go in there the person who serves me doesn't know what anything is. They panic if you utter the words "no meat thanks" and charge you differently each time.
I like a fat burrito but they actually serve the pinto beans using a teaspoon! There isn't much more guac going around either.
This place is convinient for me because It's on my doorstep. From now on though I'll be driving to Mt Lawley. Here you would be forgiven for thinking you were in an an alternate dimension from the land where the Ascot branch operates. Maybe Mt Lawley should loan Ascot the chick with the blonde hair for a few weeks so she can show them...
