A Vegetarian Paradise: Sankranti Restaurant Delights the Senses! Sankranti Restaurant has truly captured the essence of vegetarian cuisine with a symphony of flavors that left me utterly mesmerized. First and foremost, the food at Sankranti Restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. Each dish showcased the mastery of the chefs, who artfully transformed simple ingredients into culinary wonders. I started my gastronomic journey with the Paneer Pakoda, a crispy and savory delight that set the tone for the feast to come. The Tandoori Paneer Dhosa was a revelation—a perfect blend of smoky tandoori flavors and the delicate crispness of the dosa. The Tomato Uttapam was a comforting and flavorful treat, showcasing the skilled artistry of the kitchen. The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the Butter Paneer Masala. The paneer was incredibly tender, and the rich, creamy tomato-based sauce was a harmonious blend of spices and aromatics. Each bite was a revelation, as the flavors danced on my palate, leaving me craving more. The Paneer Kadhai was another masterpiece, with the paneer absorbing the fragrant spices and retaining its luscious texture, while the vibrant bell peppers added a delightful crunch. I must extend my heartfelt gratitude to Nisha, the manager of Sankranti Restaurant. Her warm hospitality and genuine passion for customer satisfaction elevated my dining experience to new heights. Nisha's knowledge of the menu was exemplary, and her recommendations ensured that I sampled the very best of what the restaurant had to offer. Her attentive and personable nature made me feel like a cherished guest throughout my visit, further enhancing the overall experience. Beyond the culinary delights, Sankranti Restaurant exuded an inviting and comfortable ambiance. The tasteful decor, infused with traditional Indian elements, created a serene and welcoming atmosphere. The attention to detail was evident in the elegant table settings and the soothing background music, adding to the overall charm of the restaurant. I also appreciated the commitment to quality and hygiene displayed by Sankranti Restaurant. The restaurant maintained a pristine and well-organized kitchen, and the staff diligently followed strict safety protocols, ensuring a worry-free dining experience. In conclusion, Sankranti Restaurant is a vegetarian paradise that will captivate your senses and leave you with a profound appreciation for the art of vegetarian cooking. From the delectable Paneer Pakoda to the divine Butter Paneer Masala, every dish is a testament to the skill and passion of the chefs. With Nisha's exceptional service and the inviting ambiance, Sankranti Restaurant guarantees an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're a vegetarian or simply seeking a remarkable culinary adventure, this establishment deserves the highest praise.

We found this place by coincidence when driving by and loved it. My partner is from Vizag, so we had to try this restaurant. The food was really great! We choose to go with a few different dishes to experience different flavours. Along with some of the dishes, they served 3 small bowls with different sauces per person, which I really liked. And the amount of sauce was more than enough for the dishes. The hosts and waiters/waitresses were very welcoming and gave helpful recommendations. When we dined, the restaurant was about half full. I also loved the ambience with decorations dangling from the ceiling. The comfy chairs and paintings added further to a great experience. The menu was presented in a printed soft cover book, which made it feel really classy. Inside, for most dishes, they added pictures, which is great for people who don't eat Indian dishes on a regular basis. The women's restroom has a small drawer with toothpicks and q-tips which is a nice detail. I reckon the men's would also appreciate the toothpicks. We really had a great evening and will come back after our next hike in the area. See you soon!

This restaurant offers an authentic and delightful South Indian dining experience. It has a clean and inviting ambiance, with subtle South Indian decor. Seating arrangements are comfortable, and the dining area is spacious. Despite of running low on staff, service was prompt and attentive. The menu offers an extensive selection of South Indian dishes and there were plenty of vegetarian options as well. The food was delicious 🤤 I have been there twice in the recent times and tried their THALI & Breakfast menu as well. Our first visit we had THALI & it is simply superb. It is UNLIMITED 🤩 Breakfast menu is also really good. I really felt like home food after long time. There’s student offer for 15% and I availed the offer as well 😉 Food quality and portions were great, the prices were slightly on the higher side compared to other South Indian restaurants in the area. However, the taste and experience made it worth the extra cost. Whether you're a fan of South Indian cuisine or a newcomer to its flavors, this restaurant won't disappoint. Thank you 😊 for cooking such delicious dishes 🤤

Ah, Sankranti Restaurant in Perth—a veritable beacon for the discerning gourmand seeking Indian cuisine, or so one might hope. Regrettably, what one encounters is an experience that might leave even the most robust palate yearning for a return to the bland safety of a pre-packaged meal.

Upon entering, one is greeted with an ambience that attempts to evoke the charm of an authentic Indian eatery. Alas, this charm is quickly overshadowed by the less-than-appetising reality of the culinary offerings. It appears that the kitchen's concept of 'Indian' cuisine is an outdated relic from a bygone era, preserved not by a time capsule but rather by a rather unfortunate dalliance with the passage of time itself.

The dishes, once presented with the flourish of a magician pulling a rabbit from a hat, reveal themselves to be rather more akin to an elaborate ruse. The naan, intended to be a pillowy delight, was reminiscent of a cardboard cut-out, and the curry—oh, the curry—seemed to have had an extended holiday in the land of mediocrity. The flavors were as muted as a mid-afternoon tea sans biscuits, leaving one to ponder whether the spices had taken a sabbatical or simply refused to make an appearance.

To add insult to injury, it was not merely the gustatory senses that were affronted. A rather distressing bout of gastrointestinal discontent followed my meal, suggesting that the culinary adventures at Sankranti might indeed come with a rather unwelcome side of illness. This unfortunate aftermath would be amusing if it were not so decidedly unpleasant.

In summation, Sankranti Restaurant, despite its valiant attempts, fails to deliver the vibrant and flavourful experience one would expect from its reputed Indian fare. Instead, it offers a cautionary tale about the perils of dining out when the freshness of ingredients and the vibrancy of flavour are mere aspirations rather than realities. It is a sobering reminder that in the world of gastronomy, not all that glitters is gold, and some adventures are best...
