As an ex travel agent, I often drive myself crazy trying to find the best deal and best accomodation within our budget as a family of 5, I can spend days doing this, but also know that the best deal isn’t always the best experience, so I go on reviews and affordability. We only live 15 minutes drive from this resort, but often passed by on family walks, and wanted to stay on the beach with ocean views. I normally like to do it all online, but after reading the reviews about the management Dana and Mark being so nice, I felt comfortable calling and explaining wanted I was looking for, Dana was exceptional and I explained my vision of our break away and she said “yes I have the place for you that just came available” it’s like she knew me personally, I am not always easy to please when it comes to accomodation, but it’s absolutely amazing, views from all rooms of the ocean, so spacious, comfortable and clean, and it didn’t break the bank, my husband had no idea what I had booked and I told him it was a 3 star, when we checked in to our room he said wow only a 3 star that’s surprising. For us it has been a 5 star experience, you can’t beat amazing friendly service from people who truly care about you enjoying your stay, and put so much effort in to ensuring you have a great stay. We are in room 702 and you may find it free if I haven’t booked it out indefinitely ha ha. A must when in the area is to go a cafe called Niche & Co. You...
Read moreThe location is great for a young family, very quiet beach, the flagged areas are a 10 minute walk either North or South. There is a little convenience store 2 doors down which has most things you would need. If looking for a breakfast or dinner out you would need to head further away towards either Kirra or Tugun. |The Room on the 8th floor was big enough for 4 adults and a toddler and having the elevator helped to unload and load luggage. The pool, spa, plunge pool and bbq area were clean. The unit was very tired and badly in need of a refurb, don't think it has been touched since originally built. The single bed in second room was broken, we told management the next day but nothing was offered to replace the bed base so adult daughter ended up sleeping on the mattress on the floor. Not a good option for the price we paid for accommodation. They did exchange the chair on the balcony that was broken. The overall cleanliness of the unit was good except under the lounges which didn't get vacumned. One of the keys didn't work and advised them but they never followed up we didn't want to keep bothering them over Christmas. |We would stay again but would check which unit was booking. |Thanks Leslie for a good family holiday on...
Read moreThe positive: Great location on the beach, fantastic views, pay tv, spacious unit, good lounge and kitchen. Not a fabric lounge which is great in units. Great spa in the room.||||The pool is DEEP! So take a floatie for your kids and yourself unless you are 6 foot tall. It is pretty much a big Lap plunge pool. Great for a swim after the beach.||||Some things to note:||||No AC in the rooms we had so they become absolute saunas as you can't open the windows due to the noise. Not to mention safety if you have kids. ||||No shower in the ensuite. There is a spa which is good but the shower is in the laundry/bathroom. Was a little strange. But a spa is great to also have.||||The games room could do with a couple of extra things. Maybe a pin ball, air hockey or arcade machine. It was a very clean space.||||The rooms was a little tired but that is expected in the area.||||Be great to have AC and a TV in the main room for the parents. That would be a treat.||||We would come back. We will be checking to see if a room has AC first. Great family getaway. On the beach and make sure you get a...
