Room 24. Right beside the walkway and opposite the pool (For context) One night stay, for the warriors vs titans game. The place was easy to find. We came well before dark knowing in advance from reviews about the limited parking. Straight to reception to check in. No problems. The venue emailed us in advance to explain the bond/deposit on the room. No dramas. The room was clean and acceptable. This place is on the cheaper side within the Gold Coast and a main reason we chose it. We did not use the pool, but it was pretty to look at each time we left our room. We walked the short distance up the road to Cole’s, for snacks and food. The room does offer utensils, if you bring food back. The bed was comfortable. Tea, coffee, cups, jug. Microwave. Quiet night. No complaints. Miami Beach is up the road a bit. 8 minute drive, or a 15 minute walk. Beautiful morning stroll option.

Did an online booking, very quick and easy for this well priced room.On after hours arrival the service to get the room key was so easy. Free parking onsite. The room is spacious clean with fresh linen and bath towels. You have a shared balcony you can step out onto. The small entrance kitchenette is perfectly spaced and equipped with toaster microwave barfridge kettle and coffee and teas. In a hidden cupboard is ironing facilities. The bathroom is clean and comes with a hairdryer soaps and shampoo. This room would easily accommodate a family of four although for us it was a room for a couple. There is a lovely pool onsite as well. In all this place is clean and well maintained and g8 value for money.

I found this place surprisingly good more than I was expected. My usual Motel experience in Australia is rather creepy or odd and smelly. But my first impression of this place was the message instruction of how to late check in was very clear, where the entry , where to park in case the undercover parking lot is full, where to see the phone number, where to collect the key and even I arrived at 10 pm I still can find the undercover parking. The room was clean and big and with an amenities that more than we could ever need. The pool also clean. The location also great not too much city and not too far away from the beach. Many cute cafe near by.

I didn't enjoy my stay at Sunshine Beach Resort. I have no idea where the name came from - it's a 10-min walk to the beach but there's no beach view and it's definitely not a resort. Very noisy room (#47) on a main road. It wasn't clean e.g. food left by last guests not removed from fridge, and old soap in the shower. They forgot to service the room the first day. The rooms are large in size but the decor is tired and in need of a revamp. It's nice that there's a kettle, toaster, mini fridge and microwave - but bring your own cutlery/crockery as they only have tea cups, glasses and 2 teaspoons. I booked here as I needed to use the internet but the WIFI dropped out a lot. It's supposed to be non-smoking but I often smelled smoke and saw cigarette butts outside other rooms. It was cold at night and there is a thin cover on the beds but using the aircon means the whole room is bathed in light from the aircon display. Not being able to sleep meant I also got to stay awake to hear other guests having late-night arguments I won't be staying...

🌟 🌟Room #25. Paid $137. Walls are paper thin..can hear neighbour! ! We both have back disabilities. I forgot to say 1st floor and she had top floor in computer. My fault for not stating initially so I said, “I should’ve stated 1st floor.” And she says, “yah you should’ve! (Unnecessary) The pic shows hot-tub 🛀, so we’re wanting to get the jets on our backs to feel good. The jets lasted 1 1/2 minutes. We were in and out to try to push it again. (Inconvenient for our backs) 😞 I told the lady about it She says, “just push it, should last 15 min.”. I say No, I tried 3x, not working.! She comes out, pushes it, and walks away. 😠 it lasted 1 min again-she couldn’t care less! . Ugg I mention it to her and she just says. “not much I can do.” I say, well, telll the manager to fix it and note it!” Not coming back! Pro. Was clean, there’s a hairdryer, microwave, kettle, small fridge.. That’s my friend...
