Niche Espresso — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

I ordered the Eggs Benny with added bacon and a Brekky wrap and an Acai Smoothie. I received Scrambled Eggs on Two Slices of bread instead and no brekky wrap. Only thing they got right was the Acai Smoothie. I don't know who made my order but clearly they're not capable of following a simple small order. Considering the amount the establishment charges for it's food on Uber Eats I expect to atleast receive the correct items I order and for it to atleast be warm which the Scrambled Eggs were not, not even warm in the slightest. As someone who has worked in food service before I have high expectations and always take customer satisfaction seriously. I will definitely not be reordering here again, if you can't get something as simple as Eggs Benny and a brekky wrap right then maybe it's time to close the doors or maybe write to McDonald's and get their advice because I get more consistency out of the teenagers who work there than I did with...

Coffee and hash browns are really good!! I've only ever ordered them via Uber. The one issue I have is not the food or coffee but paper bags they are delivered in. Two times upon delivery the bags have split at the bottom causing my coffee to spill everywhere. The bags aren't durable enough to hold the weight they are delivered in. Both times including this morning I watched the drivers handling it with care and as soon as they have taken their hand away from the bottom the bags have just torn apart. The driver was very apologetic this morning and was in shock at how quick it happened as was I. I mentioned the exact same thing happened a few weeks ago to another driver. She immediately took photos and tried to call the store.

I did have this place rated as 5 stars as it's my local and I go here around 3-4 times a week, but I can no longer put up with the service received here when you compare to the friendly and welcoming service of other local cafes. Every morning I wait at the counter patiently and always have a friendly good morning or hello, and the owner looks over, doesn't respond, say hello or smile or acknowledge that I am even there. I completely understand that he is making coffees but it does not hurt at all to smile, or say good morning, or be with you in a moment. Then he just stares at you whilst you order as if you have not said good morning, or how are you. After about the past 30+ occurrences of this I have changed this review.
