Zambrero Wodonga — Restaurant in Wodonga

I thought Taco Bill was the best Mexican restaurant in the region. But not, Zambrero Wodonga is. And it's better than it's Albury counterpart. The rice bowl is really nice, with the onion and tomato on top. I had to let the staff chose my toppings as per the most selling and I didn't regret it. Chicken was very flavourful. Beef Quesadillas are very nice as well, with the sweet sauce. Chicken quesadillas, not bad, but they were very cheesy that the bread and whole thing just falls off, but very delicious nevertheless.They don't have a bathroom to wash your hand after meals, and also don't offer wet wipes/sterile gll. Hello.. So i really like burrito and have them very often and i am not new to this store too. But today's experience was not good so i decided to share. So at first the guy tear the burrito wrap(as it was not a big tear, so i thought it will be ok) and then while putting the salad, he was literally throwing/ sprinkling the things in it as i have to ask to add more stuff and i was looking like.. omg that's is my lunch because he was handling it with such a disgust, which literally puts me off.. and while wrapping too half of the stuff just left out as burrito was torn more while wrapping and obviously it didnt make any difference to him. But its my food and i was gonna eat it. Atleast he can do is to show a bit of respect...

This place has definitely slipped. The Wodonga store used to be great, now it's a poor experience all round. I haven't been back for a few months after there was a HUGE cockroach roaming the floors (in the customer area, not the kitchen side but still...); but now the staff are disinterested and slow, items are missing from the menu (which made the food bay look very empty and un-organised) and the store looks terrible. Tables just cast aside messily in front of the booths that you're not aloud to sit on. The whole experience screams lack of care. This is where you'd ask where is management but you get the impression it all stems from there. Just lazy...
