Healesville Selfie - self contained accommodation — Hotel in Melbourne

What a rare find Healesville Selfie turned out to be. Greenery to be seen from every window, fresh flowers and a well stocked fridge and pantry to welcome us! Everything clearly labelled - and a cosy atmosphere. Fresh smelling linen on the beds, fluffy towels, large TV screen - I can't think of a single thing to complain about. We settled in immediately and felt at home. The following day we met our hostess Alison who is equally delightful, and all in all, we had a wonderful time. The house is so close to all the activities in Healesville central yet quiet and tranquil. We were all reluctant to leave! We will return!!!

Healesville Selfie was a fabulous place to stay. It had a great welcoming feeling, and had lovely creative pictures in each room. The kitchen was extremely well fitted out, and also had a very interesting pantry full of staples. The beds were very comfy and we really enjoyed the freshly picked roses (we stayed in January) in each room. We were visited by friendly parrots on the verandah where bird feed was supplied, and we were able to handfeed them. The house is an easy walk to town, The Innocent Bystander, The Beechworth Bakery, and a fantastic play ground. I would strongly recommend this...

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway while you explore the Yarra Valley then this is one of the best places on offer. The house is beautifully presented - comfy beds, all amenities available, peaceful area. The extra touches were very much appreciated. Hand-feeding the King Parrots on the side deck was a highlight. And it was fun tinkering on the piano. Loved that it was so close to the bars, cafes and shops. I highly recommend this property and will...
