On our way to Lake Mountain, we made a pit stop at Beechworth Bakery Healesville for a much-needed breakfast, and what a fantastic choice it turned out to be!

The array of freshly baked bread options was simply irresistible. We savored each bite as the flavors danced on our palates. The bread was not only fresh but also delicious, a testament to the bakery's commitment to quality.

Beechworth Bakery Healesville impressed us with its extensive selection of delectable food and drink options. From savory treats to mouthwatering pastries, there was something to satisfy every craving. The bakery truly catered to diverse tastes, making it a perfect stop for any hungry traveler.

The sitting arrangement was both comfortable and clean, providing a welcoming atmosphere to enjoy our meal. We were pleased to find ample seating options both inside and at the back of the bakery. The rear area boasted an inviting grassy lawn where children could frolic and play, while a well-maintained space offered the perfect spot to bask in the sun and relish our food.

While the overall experience was delightful, we encountered a minor issue with the restroom facilities. The light inside the toilets was not working, which resulted in a darker ambiance. Nevertheless, we understand that occasional maintenance hiccups can occur and it didn't overshadow our positive impression of the bakery.

In summary, Beechworth Bakery Healesville provided us with a wonderful break on our journey. The fresh and delicious offerings, coupled with the pleasant ambiance and ample seating arrangements, made it a memorable stop. We highly recommend this bakery to anyone seeking a delightful...

My husband and I took our 1 year old daughter out to Beechworth bakery for lunch today and were beyond disgusted with the service.

It look very busy and as we walked in seating was limited that would comfortably accomodate our pram. We saw a note on the table to scan and just order online rather than wait in the queue. So we thought it was easier to find a suitable seat and then place our order:

It wasn’t very clear once we place our order how we were notified that the food would be ready. So we asked a passing staff member who said you should get a text message to the number you booked with but if you haven’t heard anything in 15 minutes just go up and ask.

My husband went to the counter when he was pretty much abused by the manger/ ? Owner that was on. Stating she never received the order despite our proof of purchase and that we shouldn’t have used the online service. He asked why is it advertised on your tables if we shouldn’t use it. To which she replied they intentially put the expected wait times as 45 minutes to deter people from using the service.

Despite ordering dine in coffee in a mug she also gave us small take away coffees and when my husband questioned it she said you can only order take away online… again showing her proof of what we actually ordered being a fine in coffee in a mug..and the QR code on the table literally saying dine-in or take away…

Being locals we have been coming here since it opened and couldn’t be more disappointed with how we were treated, literally berated for using a service...

I was shocked to find I'd never posted a review for this star of a bakery 🌟 🍞 🍰 seriously when you're a pie lover but don't eat meat, it can become hard to satisfy that craving without making it yourself. I've been getting the cauliocoli pie for years and it's consistently one of the most delicious pies I've ever had, awesome pastry, just the bomb. The curry pie is fantastic but eat before the cauli, as a little less rich. Recently tried their V2 vegan Chili con carne pie that was so delicious that my husband initially thought they may have made a mistake and given us the meat one, but no , it's just made so well that it tricked the man that doesn't normally like mince substitutes. Bee sting cake is awesome as well as their vanilla slice but honestly with such a large variety of beautiful savoury and sweet options, it caters for all. Nice clean and spacious indoor seated area and a few outside tables or just take your goodies across to the park and enjoy. Considering I can eat 2 of their pies, i think the price is a little steep but the quality and flavour is awesome and staff are lovely. Always our first stop when staying in the area and our last stop on the way home (you can buy their pies cold to cook...

Beachworth Bakery in Healesville is an absolute delight. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by screens everywhere, keeping me informed of everything going on. Honestly, I wish more bakeries followed suit—it's so practical! Then there’s the massive drinks fridge, towering and fully stocked, making me dream of having one in my own house to hold all the drinks I could ever want. It’s like a model for how society should function—efficient, modern, and just right. The aromas drifting from the sausage rolls, pies, and vanilla slice were heavenly. The scent alone felt like comfort, but what really stood out were the curious custard-filled desserts. Custard everywhere, and I love custard! It brought back warm memories of my grandma making custard for me as a kid—sweet and comforting, just like the treats here. Honestly, when I open up a bar one day—hopefully by the name of The Velvet Fedora—I’m going to have screens everywhere just like this place, and a huge drinks fridge just like theirs. I’ll have fun games like Spin the Bottle and Massage Circle, plus cool martinis on hand. This bakery has seriously inspired me to make that dream a reality. Beachworth Bakery is a five-star experience through and through!
