Expensive for what I got. No view in this King room and it was the most expensive. Windows were too high to see a view but in the wrong place like the stairwell to appreciate any view you did get. Loft bedroom had a weirdly placed window. It let lots of night street light in but no view. What the point of such a big window. Same with the stairwell large window. Heating was located in the stairwell, which was noisy and blew straight into my face in bed at night. Had to keep the bottom toilet door shut because it was leaking cold air into the bottom storey and cooling the whole place, making the air conditioner work too hard. The lounge was not comfortable to stretch out on, with no ottoman to compensate. Lounge room was not as comfortable as it looked. Cosy, yes. No hot plate in the kitchenette. Not enough PowerPoints to do work on the lower floor. Dining table was located directly under the stairwell so you have to do some furniture moving to make the room work for you. TV did not have local television and you had to log into your accounts to watch anything. I won’t log into hotel rooms as a privacy risk. I just opted for my book or early night before work the next day. Can’t access the carpark from the back yard gate, which was metres away, rather than walking all the way around from the back of the property to the front of the property.
Clean, modern, secluded from traffic noise but still very accessible to town activities. Good amenities of microwave and kettle and toaster. Really...
Read moreWe had a whirlwind 1 night stay while we attended a concert in the area. I was devastated to have to leave the following morning. The apartment was so spacious, modern and immaculately clean. Walking distance to the gorgeous Healsville CBD, restaurants & cafes. With limited time we quickly checked in and took a short stroll to Herd Bar & Grill for lunch (amazing food & wine list). A quick freshen up and were out the door again. By the time we returned we were cold, wet & tired (unfortunately we couldn't control the weather). That's when we discovered the huge beautiful rain shower before melting into the most comfortable bed I've slept in. I think I previously awarded this title to the Westin Hotel in Mebourne. I've changed my mind!||Unfortunately I didn't get time to take any pictures. I can say it is every bit as pretty in the flesh as it is in the Booking.com pictures.||It was lovely and peaceful during our time there. I genuinely cannot wait to return and enjoy all that this gorgeous place...
Read moreSpent a night in the King loft room. Really cosy and quiet, right in the middle of town so we could walk everywhere. If you are coming to Healesville, stay here. The rooms look just as nice as the photos, the host has been an absolute delight to deal with, even though the whole process has been texting.
The bed is really, really comfortable. There are a selection of pillows to cater for your preference to sleep on. The apartment is presented fantastically. Perfect size for two.
Plus, some things that weren't immediately apparent when i looked at the website. The bathroom is upstairs in the loft area, with a huge, huge shower. I thought it was downstairs from the photos. Downstairs is a toilet and basin. Perfect.
Also, there is a communal area just as you come in the front door with a gas fireplace and some comfy chairs. Didn't use it this time, but would if we came here with another couple.
Definitely want to...
