Have people forgotten the meaning of the word "hospitality"?

I booked a 1 bedroom apartment and requested undercover parking. A friend of ours made an inquiry afterwards and they were quoted $100 cheaper than what we were quoted.

I phoned the Mollymook Cove Apartments and asked the hosts why our room was worth more. The excuse was that we requested undercover parking. The women I spoke to advised me to cancel my booking as it was obvious I wasn't happy. I asked her if she could offer me a cheaper room and she told me no because the other rooms didn't have undercover parking.

I didn't cancel the booking because I needed the undercover car park, no other apartments that I rang in Mollymook had undercover parking.

We arrived at the Mollymook Cove Apartments and the first thing we noticed was that all but 2 rooms had undercover parking. The apartment they put us in was a 2 bedroom apartment with a nice view but they locked the second bedroom. The apartments were nice and clean and in a very good area but to have hosts lie and be rude to you from the start puts a real sour taste in my mouth.

We wanted to have a nice stay while at Mollymook so nothing was said to the hosts until we left. The male host told me that I could have asked to have the second door unlocked, then the women told me that I paid for the number of people staying not the amount of rooms and that it was the executive apartment with an ocean view. I didn't ask for any of that. I just wanted a 1 bedroom apartment with undercover parking.

I told them how rude it was for lying to us but no matter what I said they had a come back. There was no apology just more lies and excuses.

During our visit to Mollymook I found a number of apartments with undercover parking so next time my husband and I visit beautiful Mollymook we will definitely be staying somewhere else.

Also, be aware that the TV signal was really bad...

We stayed at Mollymook Cove apartments recently and all I can say is it was wonderful. The hosts, Narelle and Denis were friendly and very accommodating, helping us beyond what we were expecting. The rooms were very clean, large, and bright. We had the room with a view of the beaches and a nice balcony from which we could appreciate it. The golf course is across the road and lovely to play. We also took a drive to Hilltop (Wow, it's a hard course, and hilly - take a cart). The beach is only 2 minutes walk away and what a stunning beach it was. We saw whales and dolphins playing in the bay during our stay.I can highly recommend Mollymook Cove and the hosts Narelle and Denis - we shall be returning and recommending you to all our friends.

I was surprised to read the review by Christine Mccorkindale. She complains because she was given a 1 bedroom apartment (the second was locked) but then states all she wanted was a 1 bedroom apartment (so what are you complaining about?). She says there are a number of places with undercover parking, and she will stay there next time, but she didn't want to cancel her accommodation (as recommended) because she wanted undercover parking - Christine appears to be a serial whinger ... Everyone on the South Coast gets a bad TV signal, this has nothing to do with the accommodation, read the Facebook groups for the area. You didn't even know the "hosts" names and call them "the hosts" and "the male host". It sounds to me like you are a spoilt brat - rant over.

Well done Narelle and Denis for keeping a lovely, clean place, somewhere that's situated close to everything you need, with the excellent service to go with it!!...

We have just come home from a 5 night stay at Mollymook Cove Apartments and cannot recommend it highly enough! We had never been to Mollymook before and weren't sure where to stay so rang several motels to get quotes and information before going ahead with a booking. The lady we spoke to on the phone at Mollymook Cove was wonderful. She was so helpful and was only to happy to answer all of my questions regarding their location and amenities etc. On arrival at the motel we were greeted by her husband who was just as lovely and knew a great deal about the area and the sights to see. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment which was spacious and well- appointed. I'm a bit of a clean freak and was extremely pleased with the cleanliness of the apartment. All of the beds were really comfortable and my husband and I have even decided to buy the same king bed for our house because we had such a great sleep in it! The location was perfect, literally across the road from the beach and the Mollymook Golf Club where we had a lovely dinner most nights we were there. We have already booked an apartment at Mollymook Cove again for this time next year and can't...
