Check in process and staff were friendly, that's about where the good things ended. We had booked through booking.com and the images displayed were nothing like the small studio room we got. I see others have posted on the mould issues which we experienced in the bathroom and definitely found the same noise issues voiced by others as the window in the bathroom has gaps and doesn't close, so outside noise comes straight in. The bed was on wheels so any movement and you wake up. We were very disappointed, the room allocated was nothing to what we were alluded to by limited images on booking.com. We found a half dead green tree frog on the tiles in the bathroom. Mirrors weren't cleaned and had hand prints over them. Someone smashed a bottle outside the room, could hear conversations. Upstairs rooms may be nicer from other reviews but the bottom floor studios need a desperate facelift that floating floor boards alone won't cut. Feel like we should get our money back for this stay, the room was not as described.

Stayed for 2 nights Room was a nice size. Wi-Fi worked well Room came with fridge, microwave and kettle Comfy beds Tv in the room Balcony area to sit by the pool Location is ok for where it is. There’s a chippy nearby along with a local supermarket. Close to the beach. A good location if you want to go to Fraser Island for the day. Lots of tour companies will pick you up from near by Downsides - room seemed very dusty on arrival No one was there to check us in when we arrived at 2pm. You have to phone his number that’s on the door which is an added cost. (Roaming charges) Pool looked dirty Hot water just didn’t seem to work on the last morning before checkout. Couldn’t shower due to this Bizarrely the room next to us was just left open throughout our stay. Made us feel uneasy. Just seemed very odd. You have to empty your own bins before checkout, otherwise you get a cleaning fee added after your stay. Lots of signs in the room about added charges, see below. Doesn’t feel very appropriate at all

I stayed two nights in an apartment and I really loved it. It's close to the Greyhound bus stop, the grocery store and the center. The staff is very friendly. Check in is at 2pm, I arrived at 9am and I could leave my luggage there until check-in. The apartment was really big, it had a full- equipped kitchen, a big living room with 2 sofas, a tv and a table, a balcony, a bathroom with a washing machine and a dryer and a bedroom. Everything was very clean. There is also a pool but I didn't use it so I can't say anything about it. The only negative thing is that there is no elevator and the kitchen has no bowls so you can't eat cereal. But apart from that I can definitely recommend this hotel!

This was part of our 'Great Sunshine Coast Road Trip'. We selected this motel as it was next door to our K'gari (Fraser) Island day tour. More motel than resort. Easy walk across the road to the Sports Club for meals and drinks. Two doors up was cafe, bakery and other shops. IGA was the other direction about 300 metres away. The beach was walkable distance. The hotel near the beach had nice meals. Our unit was on the first floor with easy steps. There was a nice balcony to have breakfast or a drink on. Bedding was comfortable and clean. Washer and dryer in the bathroom. Kitchenette was large enough to cook meals. Full sized refrigerator and freezer. The unit was a little 'tired' and needs a fresh coat of paint, while the lounge was starting to sag. All in all, it was...
