Rainbow Beach Pizza — Restaurant in Queensland

Really wanted a meal from here as last time we visited rainbow beach from Brisbane, it was closed. We ordered a BBQ meaty and ribs. Placed the order via phone at 6:05 and the gentleman that took order (French I think) said it would be ready in 30 minutes. Arrived at 6:35, paid for order and was told shouldn’t be long. I waited around until order was ready at 6:55. The ribs were pulled from a pizza bag (the delivery ones) before being given to me. Once I returned with the meal I discovered ribs and chips to be cold. Phoned straight back and informed the same gent on the phone who said they were really busy, couldn’t give me another meal tonight however, come back tomorrow for replacement. Tried calling the next day, phone straight through to message bank. Drive down there. Spoke to French gent again, said I had come down to collect ribs and couldn’t get through in phone? He said it was very busy so had taken phone off hook? he spoke to the boss who said “this had never happened before” felt like I was the person in the wrong and made to feel like I was after a free feed. Said I had called straight back last night to let them know the meal was cold and was told to come back again tonight. French gent said “no, I said I would speak with the boss” a total lie and he didn’t even do that! Boss said they were too busy and come back the following day. Needless to say I had more important things to do than to keep chasing a hot meal and be given the run around. Very disappointing, would not return as I would prefer to spend my money elsewhere. Extremely poor customer service, obviously out to make some coin rather than look after customers. Surely it’s not too hard to place some ribs in an oven for 20 mins, it’s not like they would have been needed to be cooked from scratch. Hopefully people read these reviews and decide to spend their money someplace else. I am also guessing from previous reviews that were not favorable to rainbow pizza and grill, I will be receiving some form of sarcastic response. Meaty pizza was good however, would have recommended it if my experience with rainbow beach pizza and grill was better! I was only after an apology for cold food at the end of the day and not sarcastic comments about how hard life is with Covid. Take some responsibility and look after your customers, they will spread the word and come back. Negative reviews spread...

Happy to say I am a regular customer, food is always as reviewed 5 star fresh ingredients , generous toppings and bases made fresh daily combine this and what you have is a high quality product not to mention the ribs and pastas to die for

The shop is immaculate and a credit to the owner

I have noted a review pertaining to offensive behaviour from a staff member this could honestly not be further from the truth all counter staff are friendly efficient and always happy to go above and beyond for customers

I would note that the above is not so prevalent in society today and generally in customer service so bravo to these guys for keeping it real

So in summing up I would suggest that anyone in Rainbow Beach would rate these guys as highly as me because they continue to support the community over many years and constantly provide a valuable high quality business with exceptional service

I don't leave to many reviews.But this place has got it so right in many ways.We first stopped up from Brissy oct 2021.Ordered Hawaiian pizza, garlic bread and ribs.wife and i were blown away by the Pizza.We stopped by again just before xmas, again incredible.And we have stopped tnight Jan 2022.Now I have eaten a lot of great pizza all over Australia.some great ones in Melbourne.But these guys have winning formula .IMO a good pizza is fresh ingredients .nice crisp thin base, just right amount cheese and toppings, too much and u got oil slop.These guys pizza is perfecto.just right amount of char.no oil what's so ever.just flavor country.10 out10.There garlic bread which again is like very thin based pizza bread.also incredibly tasty and different.Ribs were just off hook as well.But for me.its the Pizza. Absolute world class.I got say honestly.Be up at top ranked I have had. Keep the good...
