Billabong Motel — Hotel in Wangaratta

Will definitely be staying here again, it is so lovely! The rooms are all on the front verandah and we were given instructions to self check in... which is a great idea and so easy. You may think about noise from the street but it was very quiet and we had a great sleep. The rooms have been renovated very nicely, you can tell a lot of thought and care has gone into everything. The bathroom is well laid out and the shower is the best. We had everything we needed.... a microwave, toaster and fridge. The position is the best right in the middle of town... Aldi across the road and virtually everything is at your fingertips... we walked out for dinner every night as its very close to a lot of eating establishments including pubs. Stacey is a lovely hostess and communication was prompt...

This is a well located Motel right on the edge of the Wangaratta CBD, By utilising locked key boxes allows you to come and go outside of normal reception hours which is handy. The room was a little like you see in a retirement village. Whilst clean and comfortable it was a little utilitarian. The bathroom had been renovated but is on the narrow side making it difficult for 2 people to be in there simultaneously. The TV is an old smaller style flat screen. Heating/Cooling is good and the bed comfortable. Being close to Aldi you can hear early morning truck deliveries. A good but not...

First-time stay during work visits. Super-friendly service. No reception as such. Either ring the doorbell or call for prompt assistance. Or have check-in instructions SMSd to you. Keys can be I keysafe.|The rooms are dated, but the carpets are clean, and the facilities are good. |Bathrooms (or at least mine) are clearly renovated - they're great. Shower is awesome. |Shame there's no pool. No breakfast service either. Rooms close to the main road (out front), can get a bit noisy because of traffic. The air-con is delightful! A nice place to stay and easy to get to...
