The place is ok. Car parking is tight. 45° parking that's pretty hard to get into. The rooms themselves are rather cosy. Room size is roughly 5 by 3 including bathroom, so you really get 3x3 of room space plus a little 2x1.5 nook and another 2x1.5 bathroom. Bathroom needs a little renovation as the shower arm can't support the shower head, then it drops down a bit. So if you're short, then that's ok. The fan really doesn't suck the air out so expect a foggy shower. I think it's best if you leave the door open and the air con running to dehumidify. Air con was responsive so that's a plus. TV in front of the beds. I had a double and single in the bed room space. Having the small space works out really good if you want an effective air con. Cools down very well. It really can't fit more than 3. 4 if you're really desperate. They have extra blankets in the room if you need it. Sleep wise, Wangaratta was relatively quiet when I stayed, so the night was peaceful. The motel itself was on a street just off the main street. All in all, if need a quick over night stay and you're not fussed space wise, this is a good...

Read moreWe arrived as a group, having booked 3/4 of their rooms. When we went to check in, we found that they had over-allocated their available rooms and some had to find alternative places to stay, they were the lucky ones.
One of our group was able to get a key and find an drug dealer in the room he was allocated, along with the overwhelming stench of Meth smoke. The guy at the front desk apologised and tried to clean the room, and the addict was moved to a storage shed at the back of the motel (coming and going at all hours of the night and waking up the guests with loud banging in the cleaning shed). When booking a motel, we don't expect the motel owner to accept his mate dealing drugs, especially when we have children with us.
If you're in need of a fix, this is the place to be. 2/10,...
