Surprised to find a good Asian restaurant here. We've tried the Kway Teow as per many reviews here. It's nice but I think I preferred the Nasi Goreng (but probably would be better minus the peanut sauce on the satay. Or at least have it separate from the rice). Btw when we ordered the kway teow for take away, it looked pretty small in the takeaway box. However it filled a medium sized bowl. Pretty pleased with that. Definitely worth coming if you feel like some Asian food.

Fantastic dinner place out in Wangaratta. We stopped over in this town and found this spot. The char kway teow was DELICIOUS, it had that wok hei flavour and everything was made fresh to order. You could hear the busy hustle of the kitchen. Price of the meal was $30 for two plates of noodles. Can't go wrong!

Paid $22 for microwaved rice, Mongolian beef was all vegetables which were frozen had 3 pieces of meat and not to mention the sauce wow it was just water. This is my first ever review I have left a restaurant because what an absolute disgrace of a place worst Chinese I’ve ever had!!!!

From Melbourne, touring the region with friends from Singapore... Had a few great pub meals over the last few days, but had a sudden hankering for Singaporean or Malaysian food, lah! Saw the reviews for char kuay teow and decided to come into Wangaratta to give it a try. It did not disappoint!! Wok hei, good lah! My husband (whose family originally hails from Penang) gives the CKT 5 stars. The rendang and Singapore noodles got a strong 4+. The front of house staff were lovely, and quick to provide good quantities of extra cut chilli on request. We ate in. Basic but pleasant decor..The steady stream of take aways was amazing and impressive. Queue almost out the door. The chefs were working at high speed and extremely efficiently. Wow guys! Well...

Im an indonesian and my partner and I were on the way driving down from sydney to melbourne when we stumbled this little asian take away place called Wok In. Being a snobby foodie that I am, I lowered my expectation by a few notches. I ordered the indonesian mie goreng and my partner ordered the Penang char kuay teow. To our pleasant surprise both dishes exceeded our expectation and more. The indonesian mie goreng was authentic and delicious and the Penang char kuay teow was about 8/10 compared to the original dish in Penang. So definitely recommended place to eat if you're in the...

My Mother ordered Chinese Fried Rice, when she came back,I smelled something I never did before….🤩🤩 Firstly:When I tasted the fried rice,my face lit up as the food was so tasty. 🍚🥩 Secondly:My taste buds were having a literal rock concert. When the box of fried rice was about to finish,I knew I had to leave some for my parents. My tastebuds was screaming for more, well I couldn’t help but to eat one more bite. 🤤😋👍 Thirdly:The portion of the rice was so big for just $11.8!! 🤑🤑🤑 Definitely recommend for...
