Reef Resort Motel — Hotel in West Mackay

We stayed 3 weeks ago with a 5year old and a baby. Customer service was amazing. The young guy at the reception did everything he could to make sure we had what we needed. Room was clean. For me those things are more important than an amazing modern 5star hotel with unhelpful staff. The room had 2 queen beds (or a double and a queen) and the price was amazing to accommodate 4 people. Old, run down, and I'm desperate need of a few hundred thousand dollars on it. The word "resort" is a complete lie. A pool does not a resort make!! Vinyl floor coverings and a bed on wheels made for a terrible nights sleep. No extra pillows, bedside lamps with broken bulbs, and for some completely unknown reason, an old phone book that had gone mouldy in one of the bedside tables.
