We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Goldener Berg in Lech. What makes this place really special is its unbeatable ski-in/ski-out location—stepping right onto the slopes in the morning was such a luxury!||After long days on the mountain, the spa area was exactly what we needed. The outdoor hot tub with breathtaking mountain views was a highlight, and the sauna and steam rooms were great for unwinding. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, making it a perfect place to relax. Probably the best spa area I have ever experienced at a hotel!!||The staff were truly exceptional—friendly, professional, and always eager to help. We felt welcomed from the first moment, and their attentiveness really made a difference.||Dining was another highlight of our stay. We had several amazing evenings at Alter Goldener Berg, the cozy next-door restaurant, where the food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We also dined at The Johannisstübli in the hotel, which was equally impressive—the dishes were beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and perfectly matched with great wines. Both restaurants offered a fantastic dining experience that we would highly recommend! It truly is an enchanting place, where it’s easy to relax and enjoy all this place has to offer. The food is out of this word good and offers great choices for every taste. Vegan or Meat Lover, everyone is cared for in an excellent way. There is also a substantial wine cellar and the sommeliers is happy to assist you. You’ve got a food intolerance? No problem, you’ll be taken care of. The rooms are spotless, and provide all amenities you expect from a first class hotel. There are also elevators. The view is breathtaking in any given moment no matter where you are in this place. The staff is very professional and cares for you in the best possible way. You feel the sincerity and friendliness of the staff to make your stay a dream. I enjoyed the wellness area a lot, because of it’s intimate setting. I only shared it with a few guests or had the place as good as to myself. There are plenty of nice sized towel as well as sauna towels - free of charge of course. Dogs can stay as well. That the owner checked in every evening at dinner time made me feel cared for as an individual. I am looking forward to stay at Goldener Berg again - hope sooner...
