My partner and I recently had an unforgettable stay at A-Rosa Hotel, and it was hands down the best experience we've had in years! From the moment we arrived, we knew this was going to be a special vacation.
The room we booked was a suite, and it exceeded all our expectations. Spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, it felt like a luxurious home away from home. The real highlight, though, was the breathtaking view of the mountains right outside our window. Waking up to such a stunning vista every morning was truly a dream come true.
One concern I had before our stay was the potential noise from the bar area since I'm quite sensitive to sound. However, I'm delighted to report that the room's soundproofing was exceptional. Not a single disturbance reached us, and we were able to enjoy peaceful nights throughout our stay.
Our booking included half board, and both breakfast and dinner were delightful culinary experiences. The breakfast buffet was nothing short of impressive - a vast array of options that catered to all tastes and dietary preferences, including options for vegetarians and those with allergies like lactose intolerance. We started our days with a smile, thanks to the fantastic morning spread.
Dinner was served in buffet style, but it was anything but ordinary. The quality of the food was remarkable, surpassing my expectations for a typical buffet. It was a pleasure to see the variety and freshness of the dishes offered. The best part was that you could go back for seconds (or thirds!) without any hassle. The staff also went out of their way to ensure our dining experience was delightful, always ready to assist with anything we needed.
Speaking of the staff, they were incredibly friendly and attentive. Their dedication to making our stay memorable was evident in every interaction we had with them. From the warm welcome at check-in to the helpful tips on exploring the local area, their hospitality was second to none.
A-Rosa Hotel provided us with the perfect backdrop for a romantic getaway. The serene ambiance, combined with the stunning natural surroundings, made for a truly magical experience. We'll cherish the memories of this trip for years to come, all thanks to the wonderful team at A-Rosa Hotel.
If you're looking for a hotel that offers top-notch accommodations, outstanding dining options, and impeccable service, look no further. We wholeheartedly recommend A-Rosa Hotel to anyone seeking an unforgettable vacation experience. We can't...
Read moreBooked 5 nights ski trip with family and friends first week in February. After reading reviews we decided to book this hotel and we were fully aware that it was not based directly in the town and a shuttle bus was available to transport you to and from ski lift. The reviews stated that this was very efficient and wait times were minimal. On arrival we were checked in by very friendly staff. The hotel is very big and it was quite a walk to and from our rooms. Our rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities would have been nice in the room. We were half board and I have to say the breakfast and evening buffet were very comprehensive and exceptional quality. If I had one small complaint it would be the fact that beef was the main meat on the menu for three nights in a row but again the food was exceptional.||The main reason we would not return is the the arrangements to and from the ski lift. Leaving the hotel in the morning was busy and had to wait 30 mins most mornings. The main problem was trying to get back to the hotel after a days skiing . ABSOLUTE CHAOS is the best way to describe it. There is a car park where the shuttle collects guests however, there is no designated parking area and the shuttle could park in any space .This creates a problem as you could have been waiting 20 minutes assuming the shuttle will park where you are waiting. Then it arrives and parks 50 feet the other side and people who have just got off the gondola get straight on and your left waiting for the next shuttle. Then the same thing happens again and the shuttles stop at 4.30 regardless. On three occasions we were left and had to pay for a taxi back to the hotel . We felt this was very unacceptable for a 5 star hotel to treat guests this way. On one occasion after we were standing waiting for 30 minutes the shuttle arrived and we quickly boarded . Chaos followed as other people tried to get on. The women driver was so rude to us saying we shouldn't of got on without her loading our skis herself. After waiting 30 minutes and already previously paying for 3 taxis we were staying put. Again she was very rude the whole ride back to the hotel and was very unacceptable behaviour from their staff member. This shuttle service needs to be addressed as it let down our whole experience of our trip. On a plus point all other staff were very friendly and professional...
Read moreI have just got back from a four-night stay at A-Rosa and wanted to leave a review as I spent ages reading others before our trip. I have to say that unfortunately I agree with many of the more negative reviews here. This is a four-star hotel at most and incredibly overpriced for the service and facilities at the hotel. The rooms aren't bad - the bathroom being the best part, but weird single beds pushed together and individual duvets. TV was also terrible and remote hardly worked, nor did the Wifi which had terrible signal throughout the hotel. Also no tea and coffee facilities in the room, which was a shame.||The breakfast was fantastic and the best part of the hotel - an incredible choice of food and all top quality. Really great! The dinner was also good and a great selection that changed regularly. The salad bar and bread selection fantastic. Drinks, however, are expensive, although I guess that is to be expected in a ski resort. The bar service is also quite slow. ||The shuttle service is great - we never had to wait more than 30 seconds! Shout out to the drivers who were friendly and always there to help.||The spa felt dated - towels and robes not plush and need updating. ||Overall, I wouldn't stay here again. The hotel is very expensive and I think your money would go further at a more authentic Austrian hotel in the town centre. It was the small things that annoyed me at the hotel, and it's the small details that can make a hotel stand out from the crowd and go the extra mile. Sadly, the A-Rosa didn't do that for me - a lot needs to be updated here to make this the really luxurious, five-star experience it...
