RISTORANTE PIZZERIA DON LUIGI — Restaurant in Kitzbühel

On a fine Friday evening, we went to this place considering that it'd be close to authentic Italian Pizza. But it was far from it. We asked for a chicken pizza, but got something what can only be called an abomination in the name of chicken pizza. The chicken wasn't even properly diced, they were huge chunks which were put just for the sake of it (because we asked). And for some really weird reason, the pizza also tasted of Fish. Salt also wasn't properly distributed on the pizza. There were areas which had more salt than the rest. Elaborating on the service - it was super late. They took over 40 minutes to make this lazy pizza. And while billing it, we came to know that we were charged extra €5 for replacing ham with chicken. Charging extra isn't my issue, but I should be informed that this is going to cost us extra.

What a disaster. Nobody knows what they are doing. Owner runs around shouting in the front and back of the house and is totally lost like a chicken. Who wants to hear somebody shouting when nothing good comes out of it. I feel sorry for the guy. Not one person has any service experience. Food was edible, but couldn't get any service. Mind you, whoever is cooking doesn't care much about any flavor. So sorry as I had eaten there before and always liked the food and service. It was so bad, I will never...

Man muss fast sagen, dass das Ambiente dem Essen nicht gerecht wird, selbst wenn das Ambiente einen schönen Ausblick offenbart, die Einrichtung aber durch Details wie weiße Tischdecken evtl. einen etwas gehobeneren Charakter bekommen würde. Sehr freundlicher Umgangston, sehr zuvorkommender Service des jungen italienischen Kellners. Die Speisen kamen zwar zeitgleich (Vorspeise und Hauptspeise), wir waren allerdings vom Geschmack derart überzeugt, dass wir dann auch gerne nicht zu kleinlich sind und auch für etwaigen Stress in der Küche Verständnis zeigen können. Bruschetta war Weltklasse. Ganz ganz große Klasse, famos abgestimmt im Geschmack, sehr fein. Ein Knaller sind die Pizzen. Tolle Teigführung, klasse Geschmack. Super gekonnt abgestimmt und hauchdünn, Rand mit perfektem, leichtem Crunch, trotzdem teigig und weich. Gehört definitiv zu den besten Pizzen, die wir gegessen haben (auch in Italien bei guten Adressen). Wir wollten dann noch ein Panna Cotta zur Nachspeise, uns wurde freundlich kommuniziert, dass heute wohl keines frisch gemacht wurde, stattdessen wurde uns ein (ebenfalls sehr leckeres) Tiramisu angeboten. Den Ansatz finden wir total gut, da heutzutage die Tendenz der Gastronomie, sich zu modernen oft geschmacklich leider auch schon guten Convenience-Produkten hinreißen zu lassen, wächst und damit die selbstverständliche Verfügbarkeit aller Speisen 24/7 zur Norm wird.
