I stayed in the hotel for 6 nights and spent 1000 EUR just to be treated like persona non grata. I stayed over Easter for a skiing holiday for 6 nights. The single room was non-renovated, had over and had an outworn mattress. lack of amenities is below the hotel's 4-star rating ( no shampoo provided etc.) the wellness area is amazing, but again the hotel cheapskates by having open only for 4 hours a day. The conflict came when I wanted a friend to stay over in my room on a couch for a single night. I got looked like crazy by the front desk, only to be informed that a manager said it's okay and they would charge me 100 eur which is just 50 euros less than a second single room. other Austrian hotels charge 30 eur fee for such service, not 100 I was told I can't talk to the manager directly. I agreed because of the lack of other options. The manager lady then proceeded to ignore me and give me weird looks over the next 3 days instead of checking in with me. I asked for a call to discuss after my stay and was not contacted. they don't care.

I took the family room. Booking conditions were rather relaxed - 200 euro per person and 2 month period to pay this deposit (until October).||The room was great - spacious, comfortable beds, clean, new furniture. Corridors are halls are looking fresh and spacious as well. Cleaning stuff made figures (like heart or so) out of pilows and blankets.||Location is perfect from the one hand side - it is really 30 m away from ski lift - very convenient. But there are three night clubs just next to the hotel and it could be annoying for sensitive people.||SPA although without pool is very good and spacious: besides finnish sauna and two steam turkish hamams there is big ralaxation area with water mats, fireplace, armchairs, earphones with relaxing music. SPA contrary to some other hotels is oppened at quite convenient time. We liked a lot to visit the SPA.||Restaurant spoiled excellent impression. During christmass week there were no problems about quality and variety of dishes for the breakfast (just normal, like it is usal for good 3-4 star hotel). ||In beginning of january we noticed sometimes tomato or cucumbers disapered, cucumbers were old. For dinners salat buffet became limited as well, there were very few not the best ones kinds of cheese. If you order the mineral water "Römerquelle" the bottle would be ALWAYS open. Once we asked to bring closed, but they could not do this. It simply means they reuse empty bottles to refill it from some other source. Eventually we noticed after some time our waiter bacame not that attentive and welcoming to us (there was really not obvious reason for this).||The New Year dinner was finished 30 min before midnight ("staff wanted to come home for celebration"). ||And in the end of our staying my children had problems with stomack in the afternoon after eating sadwitch made with ham taken at the breakfast. After that I smelled sausage and ham - the smell was sour! Then I noticed they prepare all the staff for the breakfast late in the evening (including ham) and it stays not chilled until morning.||||So my recommendation to the hotel management - to reconsider seriously approach to restaurant service.||||besides I should admit that Hostess of the hotel - Barbara is very...

Nice accommodation with a great location, but not really a hotel. The lower floor is completely renovated while the rooms upstairs are old and dated, but clean. 5 stars for the sauna and resting area. 3 stars for the accommodation. 1 star for the miserable experience. I had to sleep on the couch in the lobby one night, after I lost my wallet with the keycard in it. There is no staff during night hours, and no emergency number to call. I couldn’t even enter the place. I was soo lucky some other guy entered the hotel, after waiting outside for a while (it was -15 C outside). Couldn’t even get an apology the next day from the owner/manager. And all this was after they moved all my stuff from my room to another room without any notice, because it was overbooked(they had my phone number of course). Found out with stupor that my card wasn’t working and my stuff piled up on the bed in the new room. I had to go back with them and retrieve my stuff from the safe (which they forgot about). Really, who does that anymore?? They really need new...
