Parkhotel Sölden — Hotel in Sölden

Stayed at Parkhotel 6 nights on a ski trip. Very quiet, quaint hotel very convenient and centrally located to everything. Convenient lockers in the basement to store skis and boots. Bus stop just outside and across the street from hotel. About a 5 min walk to one gondola, and about a 3 min free bus/shuttle ride to the other gondola. Very close to great bars, food, and shops. Breakfast and dinner was included in rate. Front desk reception was extremely informative and helpful to answer any questions. Food for dinner in the dining room was just OK, nothing to write home about, but it was nice to have the meals included in rate so we took advantage of it. Room came with one queen bed (two twin beds pulled together), and one separate twin bed. Staff kept the room very clean and tidy. We had a great view of the village. Heat worked very well, no AC so kept the window open for cool air. Great location,...

In terms of decor, it's quite classical - lotsa wood and traditional furnishing. Our standard double is spacious and very clean. Breakfast was ample and delicious, but got quite monotonous after 3 days. ||||What made our stay enjoyable was the staff. Everyone, from front desk crew to restaurant staff, was exceptionally warm and helpful. Everyone spoke English. We didn't do much research before arriving - so we needed plenty of basic info from the staff. And they happily answered all our questions, including where to find a doctor to get a prescription for antibiotics. ||||Definitely tempted to...
