Hotel Schachner — Hotel in Saalbach-Hinterglemm

I recently stayed at Hotel Schachner for a week in January 2019.||I highly recommend this hotel. It is short flat walk to the Ubahn Gondola and is located next to the ski school and Spar shop in the main street of Hinterglemm and is not near any noisy night spots.Our room and the hotel were of a high standard and were always clean.||Breakfast is buffet and all that you need and the dinner in the restaurant is typical Austrian meals at very reasonable prices.||The hotel is run by the Schachner family who provide some of the best genuine personal service that I have experienced.Nothing was too much trouble for them or their staff.||For example they let friends of ours who were not staying at this hotel store their luggage there for a short period of time and then called a taxi for them free of charge.||When I asked Mrs Schachner for the location of the bus stop without me asking she looked up the bus timetable told me the time of the bus that i should catch and arranged for her husband to drive myself and my wife the short distance to the bus stop...

Stayed here for one week at the end of January 2016. The Schachner family are so welcoming and friendly. The check in was swift and the room was immaculately clean and modern. We had a large balcony overlooking the nursery slopes.||||The location of the hotel is excellent. You can ski directly back to the hotel and it is situated at the foot of the night skiing slope. You can directly access the town centre. The spar shop is located close to the hotel. In addition, there are plenty ski rental shops and I used Gumpold sports.||||A great bar that is very welcoming. The food is wonderful and plenty of choice. Breakfasts are fantastic.||||Ski and boot locker are well placed and very warm.||||Overall, a great stay and i can't recommend...
