It considere one of the Best Hotels in Bahrain Manama
Also it has many awards including world Lexury award 2020 , and Tripadvisor 2021 , high ranking in booking 8.9 and Agoda 8.7
Once I Arrived it's located in peninsula like place. Where is only one way to go there
You will find huge parking space before you arrive to hotel it charge you 200 Bahrain fills per hour
It's Abit confusing
The hotel has multifloor parking underground and upper level , it has no security fence there is a security guy who will ask you each time about your room
In the reception area I found it less luxurious in compare with the Sweet I booked , also I did not like the Reception Smell it has aroma. But mixed with a smoke smell
They have A unique elevator service , there is no dial button in each elevator , instead there is a panel out side which you press and select your distention whether Room floors or other serviced , restaurant , Gym , spa etc
5 elevators for service once you dial your distention in the screen display will tell you which elevator to pick , it's A bit confusing in the first time only , but it was good experience and their elevator are fast
Regarding the Sweet I was in 2005 , excellent it has parquet every where mixed with Glass you can see the bath room open space , there is also Transition with floor tiles ، and huge glass with a wonderful oscion view and other skyscapers
The Tv is not a smart Tv normal LCD TV with minimal channels many channels dose not work so it was useless
What I like is bathtub you can control the curtain from inside inorder to cover up because every thing in visible
Another facinating thing you can control lights and A/C , from a glass panel easy to use , you can also control the view Curtains and it's a black out responsive
The bed is comfortable and the ambient is really good
The toilet is excellent the water pressure is excellent the heater works instantly
The Breakfast was excellent they have a wide variety of dishes different cultures , good service they bring everything to you you don't have to carry your plates
Things I didn't like:
the sound isolation is really Bad Yoy can Hear the neighbor room noise I mean you can hear them Clearly from your room , To be Honest I woke up in the middle of night because they were enjoying they had sex and you can hear everything which I find embarrassing and also less privacy so I could not enjoy that option with my wife
I do not recommend also if you are newly married and you want to do that unless. If its ok with you
the toilet area has peeled wall paper they should change it because this Hotel. Has a...
Read morePros: we checked in at 3pm as stated on their website upon booking and we were greeted by Raja at the reception desk whom was a pleasant and charming character. He gave us a room with a stunning view overlooking the Four Seasons, Bahrain Bay as well as the Bahrain World Trade Center. We did not even request for it but he told us we could have a late check out (3pm) the following day which was perfect because we were definitely enjoying all the amenities in the room. every staff member we came across with at the hotel was so friendly and helpful. it was our first time staying or even visiting the hotel so we were somewhat lost and flabbergasted at how modern everything was. Most of the lights were smart automated and could be pressed within a button (light switches and curtains). It was definitely an experience worth trying. the tub provided in the toilet was also a definite plus as the cold season has started a hot bath with a few bath bombs were just the perfect relaxation we badly needed. if you alot some time to go down to their pool deck on the 11th floor- you will come to find an infinity pool overlooking the World Trade Center. It was a shame the weather was 15*C that day and we simply could not enjoy a swim. we also appreciated the free parking accessible for hotel guests.
Cons: There were a few very minor things like cleanliness. Booking during the pandemic- we have to ensure that everything is completely clean and we saw that the kettle snouts (upon heating some tea during the cold season) were not cleaned properly. There was mildew growing and we requested for a clean kettle and they brought us another with the same issue but when I pointed it out to the staff, he took care of it immediately. Another would be the backsplash behind the toilet sinks. I know its hard to clean those tiles but guests will surely notice the algae forming on it. With a hotel with such high ratings cleanliness should be up to par. The breakfast buffet at the Atmosphere Restaurant was said to be an "international" buffet menu but they only offered a VERY limited selection. Truth be told only English breakfast which consisted of turkey, eggs, fried rice and sausages. And some arabic/ indian menu with aloo bhaji, masala and parathas. They also had some yogurts, bread and cereals but I was expecting an "international" menu would had more options. We were told that we could check out at 3pm upon checking in, however at 2pm someone called us saying check out was at 1400hrs so we rushed and checked...
Read moreAfter a rocky start, my experience at the Wyndham Grand Manama Bahrain has been nothing short of exceptional. I'm delighted to share my transformed perspective on this hotel, which has proven to be a haven for families with children.
One of the standout features of my stay was the exceptional staff. From the front desk to the concierge, the team was always ready to assist, particularly in ensuring the comfort and enjoyment of my toddler. Their willingness to go the extra mile made a significant difference in my overall experience.
Despite opting for a superior room due to my toddler's energy, the views from my room were breathtaking. We were treated to magnificent sunsets and the mesmerizing sight of boats sailing by. The room provided a serene backdrop for relaxation and family bonding.
The Wyndham Grand Manama truly excels in catering to families with children. The kids' play area on the first floor was a hit with my son, complete with complimentary juice and snacks. Additionally, the poolside kids' area was a lifesaver, ensuring that my son was entertained throughout our stay.
Pool Options: The family pool, thoughtfully shaded, allowed for comfortable and safe swimming. The infinity pool, with its stunning skyline and Bahrain Bay view, was a treat for adults. The presence of a lifeguard added to the peace of mind, especially for parents.
Proximity to Attractions: The hotel's strategic location near boat rides and malls is a significant advantage. It made exploring Bahrain's attractions convenient and hassle-free, enhancing the overall value of our stay.
Room for Improvement: While my overall experience was exceptional, I believe that expanding the selection of children's TV channels would be a valuable addition. This would cater to the entertainment needs of younger guests, reducing the reliance on personal devices.
Conclusion: My stay at the Wyndham Grand Manama Bahrain took an inspiring turn, thanks to the hotel's dedication to making amends and ensuring guest satisfaction. It has proven itself to be an ideal destination for families with children, offering a warm ambiance, exceptional service, and an array of amenities to keep young ones engaged and entertained.
I wholeheartedly recommend the Wyndham Grand Manama Bahrain to fellow travelers with children, confident that they will have a memorable and enjoyable experience, just as my...
