Fish Market Restaurant — Restaurant in Sea Front

High End and laxurious Sea food restaurant , excellent place and atmosphere, excellent Staff and service, I liked the menu where they give you Tablet to view and its easy to navigate, various options between main dishes, soups, salads and desserts

In the menu the prices are reasonable for the quality you get, you can also get any fish you want by weight

I have ordered Creamy seafood soup, the portion size was small for one person only, the consistency was good and the taste was great but, there was little seafood options in it, it's like one or two small shrimps that was cut in small pieces, no other options, and for the price 3.2 BD IT was not justified in compared with other High end seafood restaurants

Also thing I did not like, in the menu you can see the prices, which are different if you want to get the same fish by weight or by pices

Personally I wantes grilled that was in the menu, some gentleman came and told me if you want 6 pices which are grilled with garlic and special suace,

It was over priced for those 6 pices costed me 1.28 BD, medium sized Bahriani shrimps, it was not even imported or special Shrimps, you really can get them as fresh and way more cheap

I have tried also shrimps curry, good taste small portion, little curry it's only for one person

For Salad I have Tried crab Salad which cost 3.2BD, IF YOU want to add avocado you have to pay extra which they told you if you wanna add to make it more creamy , they never mentioned that it gonna cost you more 0.8 BD, also there was no Kaviar with that salad it could be better

Other thing I really did not like, same gentleman was pushing me to get dessert and drinks, I have told them I will have one drink only for my lady ,and then he told me you should try this drink for you, I said no thank you, then he said it's OK it will be free of charge, after I am done they put it in the bill!! Thats was really not appropriate, I did not have any word with that gentleman because he should stick to his words, and because I want to write honest personal opinion and experience

For the cleanliness, absolutely clean and tidey, excellent bathrooms, excellent water pressure, excellent soap quality

Overall experience : it was OK but it could be better I gave it 3 out of 5 because of the prices are not justified and for that gentleman who keep pushing you to get more and more even though he told you this is free drink the first two things in the bill were drinks that cost 3.5 BD each, at least if he said something he do it it's not my responsibility to remind him that, he is the one who should tell the...

So the restaurant is clean and ambiance is nice.  The service has a lot of room for improvement. It took almost 20 minutes to get water and had to ask twice. The mint refresher took the same but it tasted great.

The water is the easiest thing to provide yet it seems to take forever.  The service needs to be more attentive to the table.

Ordered the shrimp cocktail but it was very disappointing. It was shrimp with a cocktail mayonnaise on it. This place doesn't know what a shrimp cocktail is. They need to go on YouTube and get a class. 6bd for 6 pieces of trash shrimp.

So ordered the squid with thai sauce and it was delicious. The garlic rice was good too.

The shrimp curry was good but kinda overpriced too.

Then ordered the sea bass with lemon butter sauce. It was okay but I wouldn't get again.  They didn't fillet it well so it was all bones.

The mango sauce brulee was okay! I'd recommend it but it wasn't memorable.

Overall I might come back but it needs to get better with service, and the price needs to match quality of food. Make sure you get validated for...
