Gulshan Lake View — Hotel in Dhaka Metropolitan

Not recommended at all. Room was fine i guess, but the bathroom had a broken door, broken basin(i don't know how it is still holding up), unusable bathtub, had a bucket in the bathtub with non functioning faucet, had to take shower with a bucket and a mug and the shampoo quality was bad, AC and tv had old remotes. The room had a mini fridge but i was unable to connect that, needed a multi plug. As a matter of fact the socket i used to charge my phone, i really had to spend time to make it work so that my charger would stick. The receptionist was unprofessional, hung up the phone on me when i asked him something, just didn't wanna be rude. Breakfast was pretty ordinary. Pricey food. One thing i was impressed with was the dining staff or the room service people were polite and behaved nicely. Bed and the rest were okay i guess. Forgot to take pictures, i should have. Didn't expect a hotel like this in Gulshan area at this price level. Waste...

At first, we were given a room with mould on the ceiling and my husband had to show what we were on our confirmation and eventually we were moved to another room which was not any better. There were no bed lights, they put a plank under the mattress which I knocked with my knee few times, there was no shower curtain so it floods the bathroom after a shower, breakfast was chapati and watery vegetable curry. This is a fine hotel in best location the guys from front desk was helpful,nice and polite the price is bit high according rooms and services also they gave us the complimentary breakfast every morning but need to fix the beds and toilet there was no heater in the bathroom and always watery floor and also there is too much mosquito so this is the lack in my perspective if they're gonna fix it it'll be lit but overall nice and best I'll visit again here for sure...
