Farmis Garden Hotel & Restaurant — Hotel in Sylhet Division

A huge plus point for this hotel is that it is situated in a very prime location — on the main road, just opposite of the Sylhet Police Lines and only a 2 minutes walk to Hazrat Shahjalal Mazar Sharif. A supermarket, Tea stalls, pharmacies, departmental stores and restaurants could also be found very nearby. I know the owner of this hotel, Rafez bhai personally for 5/6 years now. In my eyes, he is a very kind, honest & amiable person; and I had a firm belief that a business institution run by him will maintain a high level of standard - which they did so well! We resided there for 5 nights / 6 days: the tariff for a twin bed room per night was fairly reasonable, and the rooms were well decorated (fitted with a TV, Telephone and all other necessary stuff) and remarkably clean. As I often like to shower at night, I really benefitted from the fact that they have 24/7 hot water service in all their bathrooms. The receptionists too were smart, well-behaved and I found them really helpful whilst taking suggestions for where to go / when to go. The room service was prompt to cater to our every need, I just wish they were a bit more quicker!

Overall, a very nice stay. For the money I paid, I certainly will not get a better service than this elsewhere in Sylhet. Highly...

Well, I like this place. The place is very cozy and comfortable. The room is very comfortable, the beds as well. Overall lighting inside room is very good. We got geezer in shower and the washroom is nice and clean. We got medium range wifi but thats pretty well. They have android TV and if you have netflix account, you can binge anything you want. You guys can install set top box for channels or can set us up netflix password on arrival. Overall Room service was good. A bottle of water, towels, toothpaste, soap, shampoo and ashtray all were nice, clean and sealed.

Please work on washroom ventilation and Intercom. 😄

I can't comment on their food cause I missed the breakfast time, the last time was 10:00 am but I called in 10:14am and they haven’t sent it to my room, Next time please send it or may be a complementary meal? 😄😄

The front desk is very friendly and helpful, all of 3 guys are very professional. The lounge and 3D pictures of tigers, overall lighting are very delightful. In future, I will definitely take their service again.

I stayed 3 nights in deluxe double AC room. Here are my feedback.

Good things: Room was neat and clean when we checked in. Reception, room service, restaurant service were very responsive. Location is nice. Close to the center of the city. You can easily go to famous restaurants like Panshi, Pach bhai by rickshaw. The hotel was very quiet. Though there was very few guests during our stay.

Things I didn’t like: We had to complain 2 times to change the room. First time, there was water leakage from AC vent. Second time, the AC was not working. So, we stayed in 3 rooms in our 3 nights stay. We stayed in week days, so there was not many guests. In fact we were the only guest in our floor. So, they started do maintenance work in the rooms and the noise was really annoying! Even after our complain they continued this! Their reception is not in ground floor. It's in 1st floor and there is no lift. So you have to carry your luggage to 1st floor before...
