Described as a budget hotel and price reflects this, but the term "budget" in this case does not mean cutting corners.
Hotel is ultra clean, reviews when I booked also described the same and when you just want a hot shower and a comfy bed, with no sparkly extras, cleanliness is probably the top thing on your list. Well, didn't disappoint.
Reception staff were very helpful at check in, most polite. This hotel is colourful and not in a gregarious way, just lifts you after a long day in the city.
Room was basic, TV was large (although I couldn't get it to work or change the language, so gave up on that), wet room had everything you needed including a 3 type shower. Bed was comfy, I hadn't slept that well in my own bed!
There are no drink facilities in the rooms, but the bar is open 24/7, it's a cashless hotel.
I didn't include breakfast in my stay as there are copious amounts of cafe to choose from locally but drinks are included so I chose to have a tea and some water. The breakfast was continental and large, looked good quality food and stocks were restored swiftly where needed. Lots of tea bag choices too! Breakfast staff were also pleasant and cheerful.
Highly recommend this hotel for exactly what you would need for a city break. It's inexpensive, clean, tidy, great staff, good location, comfy bed and a hot shower....
Read moreI came for 3 nights to attend a conference, when I arrived my room was overbooked (supposedly due to their reservation system that does this). Supposedly also, they tried to call me before to ensure I would come or not but didn't succeed. I checked my reservation, the phone number is correct, so, hey, go figure what kind of pbkac might have happened :) So it was 23h30 and the lady at the reception told me in a nonchalant way: "just find yourself a room for tonight, you can come back for the 2 others". After I started yelling, she disappeared and the remaining guy started looking for a room somewhere else for me. After more ordeals due to the other hotel (check my other review on the bloody "Les Nuits Antwerpen"), I eventually got onto a bed at 2AM. So OK they found a solution at least.... I complained to Radisson, they promised someone would contact me, nothing happened of course.
Apart from that the rooms are quite OK, BUT the blanket was a single, whereas my bed was a double. At that point I was too tired from the first night, it was late, I didn't ask anything. I suppose that's the sort of petty things you get when you force them to do their job for a change.
The parking price of 21€/night is ridiculous but there are spots in the neighborhood and they're free until 9am.

Read moreThe facilities (building, room, parking) are great, I guess it was opened recently. Front desk personnel is also very attentive. However, the company has serious challenges, especifically that the terms & conditions included in the confirmation email differ from what the employees see in their system. Besides, it is impossible to contact the property by phone (their incoming calls are either diverted to a call center or are not picked up). After contacting to the general email, I just got an automatic reply saying they were very busy and giving me low hopes of getting a response in time. Then, I filled in the contact form in the website, but never got a response to my question. Finally, once I checked in, the front desk quickly handled my request (reduce my stay from 2 nights to just 1) and was promptly reimbursed. Summary, whoever who designed the communication infrastructure should be fired and whoever trained front desk personnel should be...
