My husband and I stayed at Les Bluets at the beginning and end of a bike tour we made around the the Low Countries. I could tell at first the hostess was a bit unsure about us--we are younger (32) and ended up here after the other hotel we booked was closed for a holiday when we arrived, and sent us to Les Bluets last minute. Our bikes were delayed getting to Brussels, and Madame Myriam was very helpful, calling the airport for us several times. After our bikes arrived, she seemed decide that we were OK, and she let us store the bags we brought our panniers in while we made our tour, agreeing to have us back again. She is definitely a somewhat strict hostess (understandable since it is her home as well), but we both liked her a lot and found her to be quite helpful and accommodating on numerous occasions. We were charmed by the bric-a-brac, and enjoyed both the rooms we ended up staying in. The price was very reasonable, especially since it included breakfast, and it was a peaceful place to sleep. (And to be fair that is part of the charm of the hotel for without Madame's care and passion for this wonderful place which can occasionally manifest itself in a jarring rebuke or instruction - the jam must be put back on the carousel! - it would not be what it is - a jewel!). Read other reviews for descriptions etc but believe me what I say this is an almost magical, please with a genuine...
