We stayed in the Sunrise Suite. Beautiful beachfront view with patio. They surprised us with Happy Honeymoon written on a leaf and flower petals on the bed when we arrived. Spent 6 days here. Everything was super clean, they even keep the grounds and beach tidied up all day long. Spent mornings floating in the ocean and the afternoons in the pool. Drinks and food at the restaurant/bar were really good. The place was more intimate than being at a large fancy resort. Staff knew us by name and were very helpful. They brought my husband coconuts straight from the trees. The Ladies at the Bar were always smiling and I enjoyed many tasty margaritas by the pool. Shantel was amazing and helped with whatever we needed, massages, golf cart rental, any question we had (and we went to her a lot) she was right on it for us. The town itself is great, the people are super friendly. We spent a few days, evenings at the Driftwood Bar and Restaurant, down the street. They also had good food and some nights they had local drumming. There is a market right across the street from the Resort, they have pretty much everything you need. We had kitchen in our suite, so we stocked up on beers and seltzers! We did the Ruins Tour and the Night River Bioluminescent Tour. Highly recommend both. I definitely want to come back and I would stay here again! Hubby and I get tattoos when we visit other countries. Inkologist Tattoos with Marvin on the last day was great. We also took the little plane through Tropic Air into Dangriga, it was a short shuttle ride away that we arranged with the resort. Tropic Air calls the resort for you when you check in so they know when to pick up. Makes it super easy! We chose this place based on many different site reviews and they defiantly live up to and exceeded expectations.

I can’t recommend Coconut Row Resort enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was unforgettable. They greeted us by name every time they saw us, constantly checking in to make sure we were enjoying our stay and had everything we needed. The food at the resort’s restaurant was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were crafted to perfection. The pool was pristine, with plenty of comfortable lounge chairs, including in-pool loungers and a sitting ledge—perfect for relaxing while soaking up the sun. The beachfront location is unbeatable. The beach is impeccably maintained, with staff raking debris daily, and you’re less than 30 yards from the water. Waking up to those ocean views was nothing short of magical. The rooms were equally impressive, equipped with all the amenities you could ask for: excellent air conditioning, purified water, a coffee maker, an umbrella, and even a camping light in case of power outages. Every detail was carefully thought out to ensure guests have a comfortable and stress-free stay. One of the most amazing parts of our experience was the staff’s genuine care and friendliness. Even when we saw them in town on their day off, they greeted us by name, checked in to see if we were OK, and took the time to recommend places to go and things to do. Their warmth and attention to detail are truly unmatched! This resort exceeded all expectations, and we’re already booking our next trip back! If you visit, be sure to tell Shantel at the front desk that Stephan and Monique say hello we can’t wait to return soon! Coconut Row Resort truly feels like paradise, and I’m already counting down the days until we can return. Don’t hesitate book your stay now!

We enjoyed our 4 night stay in this beachfront property, and it is in a good location close to restaurants, bars, and grocery stores. We stayed in a cute cabana with a small fridge and coffee maker. It’s convenient to have coffee first thing in the morning since we have been waking up early. The restaurant doesn’t open for breakfast until 8 am. It is very convenient to have the restaurant on site and we ate our breakfasts there. When we first arrived, the owner Damian was there to greet us. He was very friendly and helpful. The welcome drink was a nice touch. The staff were very nice. Coconut Row owned a tour shuttle and a boat. We had a rental car so we didn’t book an inland tour. We went on the “fish and snorkel” tour. The guide and boat Captain were very patient and helpful. We used their kayak on our last full day and that was a nice experience and the staff helped us get it on the beach. Our only disappointment is the thick sargussum along the beaches. It is not specific to Coconut Row. It is the entire Belize west coast problem. We didn’t realize that it was a big problem when we planned our vacation, and sadly, we didn’t enjoy the Belizean beach experience in San Pedro, Placencia, and Hopkins.

My sister and I stayed at Coconut Row in Hopkins, Belize from October 12–16, and it was truly incredible. We originally booked the Sunrise Suite so we could each have our own bedroom and be right on the beach. The resort was easy for our driver to find, and as soon as we arrived, the staff greeted us with big smiles and took our bags. We immediately felt welcome.||To our surprise, we were upgraded to their best accommodation—the Bismark Suite! Because it was low season and they were doing small repairs to the Sunrise Suite, they wanted to make sure everything was perfect for us. The upgrade was stunning and felt so luxurious—though it did only have one bedroom, so my sister slept on the pull-out couch. She didn’t mind at all because everything else was so beautiful.||The Bismark Suite is on the second floor with a completely unobstructed view of the beach. The large covered porch with lots of seating and a hammock quickly became my favorite spot. Inside, the air conditioning worked perfectly, everything was spotless, and the décor made us feel like celebrities.||During our stay, we explored town easily on foot and visited several restaurants. Every person we met was incredibly friendly—we didn’t have a single negative experience, either in town or at the resort. The staff knew us by name, checked on us often, and made us feel genuinely cared for. We ate many meals at the on-site restaurant and loved the food. The pool was refreshing, the property and buildings were sparkling clean, and everything looked freshly painted—one of the perks of visiting in low season.||We also enjoyed using the stand-up paddleboards and even booked a half-day snorkeling tour through the hotel. The boat is kept right on the property, so we left straight from the beach in front of our suite. Even though the water was a bit cloudy due to rainy season, it was still a fun and memorable experience.||Coconut Row exceeded every expectation. The combination of quiet beachfront relaxation, modern comforts, genuine hospitality, and Garifuna cultural charm makes it a place I would recommend to everyone. I absolutely cannot say enough good things about this resort and their amazing staff. I’m already dreaming...
