Privé Thermas Hotel — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Caldas Novas-Morrinhos

Got parked right outside the hotel. The lobby was dreary and tired looking. At the reception desk it was pay on arrival. I tried 2 UK debit cards and 1 UK credit card. None worked, although I had been using all 3 during my stay in Brazil. My girlfriend had to use here Brazilian credit card.||||Up to the room. Again it was tired and old. Quite spacious. Just about clean enough although the sofa cushions were stained. BUT, the bed was not made up. Called reception and was offered a change of room or a supply of sheets to make our own bed as there were no housekeeping staff on duty. My girlfriend agreed to make the bed up. We were supplied with 2 pillows but wow, were they flimsy.||||I went back downstairs to park the car in the garage. This was a mission in itself as although the spaces were large enough, actually getting into the space involved many back and forward manoeuvres . If you have a car, be sure to reverse into the space.||||Time for a shower. At least it worked, well for 30 seconds. Flash, bang - the fuse blew so had a cold shower. It was late so we decided to sort out in the morning.||||Breakfast was included and it was actually the best thing about the hotel.||||We reported the shower fault and went out for the day. On our return we were informed the shower had been fixed. So up to the room and into the shower. Yes it was fixed, well for 30 seconds and then an even bigger bang and a shower of sparks and ended up in a cold shower.||||This time we were moved to a different room and thankfully the shower was OK.||||If you want a nice relaxing and comfortable hotel, don't stay here. It was expensive too and definitely NOT...

We stayed a time the PRIVE Boulevard Hotel. This place has very low maintenance. Firts time visiting Caldas Novas. The hotel room had no towels, dirty sofa, very poor customer service. You have acces to a water park in front of the hotel and today one big piece of deck rail, solid iron feel on top of a 3 year old kid broke her head and no one came to her aid. Bloodd everywhere on the pool and an hour later there was a dancing party like business as usual. I grabbed the piece of railing and walked the park looking for a supervisor until I found one guy. The park has little structure maintenence, no one seemed to care to what happened today. I took photos and hopefully the family will sue the heck out of this park for damages and trauma to the kid. I went with my husband, son and my parents for a 5 day holidays in this hotel. We loved!!!! The room was nice but nothing special. The pools, and the free access to the other privé facilities was the highlight. We could go from one club/ hotel/ water park to other to enjoy the different pools and attractions. The warm waters are just amazing. My 4 year old boy loved all!!! We had breakfast and dinner included and it was all worthy. Big variety of Brazilian food and very tasteful. I was very pleased with our stay there and didn't feel the need to explore much around. There are some commercial streets nearby for clothing, souvenirs and local food.
