I always go to Juquehy to enjoy a good day at the beach but hardly have the time to stay all weekend. This time was different...we had an entire weekend off and decided to go as soon as we confirmed there would be enough sun. There weren't many options on booking.com, specially because we wanted a hotel for that same day, so I've searched a lot and luckily came across Montão do Trigo (trust me, there're many hotels in the area that should review their proposals).||||The hotel is as beautiful as the pictures show: very nice common area, cozy restaurant where the breakfast is served, bar and pool. They also have a TV room, but it is not that necessary since all rooms have a big screen TV + DVD. They gave us a room facing the street w/ a small porch, which was good because of the noise that some families w/ kids did at the pool in the back- warning for couples looking for a quiet time! But if you're going w/ kids, it's perfect. Very comfortable room w/ a double and a single bed. Nice furniture, but it could be more charming if it had wall decorations (in wood, just like the ones in the common area). ||||Shower is hot enough (please notice weather was good but it got very chilly at night, so during the summer you won't need it to be this hot). Breakfast is very very good, a large variaty of bread, fruit, yogurt, cereals, croissant, eggs, etc. They even had french crêpes!||||Hotel is 100m from the beach, you can take a towel in the reception and when you get there, there will be chairs and beach umbrellas already set for you to use. Staff was very kind and prepared to help you w/ anything you need. We will definitely go...
Read moreVery standard and basic hotel. Not reflected in the price though. ||WIFI is working well. Swimming pool rather small and occupying more or less the whole outside garden of the hotel. |Rooms are very poorly isolated. (lot of noise from neighbours) |Free parking is available, but limited number of places at the property. Parking in the quiet street solves the issue. ||They're stains on the sheets and on the towels.||The room feels a bit worn out. ||Not the best value for money. ||Ps: not the fault of the hotel, but the main street in Juquei is not worth to be...
