I was allotted a superior deluxe room on the 10th floor of this hotel when I was on an academic visit to a globally acclaimed center of excellence in Sau Paulo. I found the hotel absolutely amazing in terms of location; hygiene and cleanliness; safety and security; and comfort. After a day of hectic work, the night proved to be enjoyable in the hotel, with me getting a sound sleep, making it difficult to wake up in the morning despite the alarm ⏰️ ringing. The morning buffet breakfast with varieties of fruits and other local delicacies was enjoyable, but more satisfying was the hospitality of the ladies in charge who would come to my table and offer freshly-made items. The hotel front-desk staff - Lucas, Yari, Bruno, Fernando, and Marshallo - were equally warm and hospitable. Most of them spoke English at a place where Portuguese is the mainstay and provided every help I needed. The room cleaning staff did a great job every day.
The location was such that I walked to my workplace in the morning and the city center in the evening. All the tourist attractions like the art museum, the football museum, the historic municipal theater, and the amazing park (Parque do Ibirapuera) were within 4-5 miles from the hotel. I found some nice restaurants on the street itself where the hotel is located and the parallel streets. Barely walkable, I enjoyed the vibrant city center, Av. Paulista, where I saw even people dancing in groups on the streets. There were lovely malls, convenience stores, restaurants, bars, and other places of recreation all over the city center, but Shopping Cidade São Paulo captivated me with some amazing stores and eateries. If I visit Sau Paulo again, I am sure to contact one of the staff over the phone and stay in...
Read moreI’m basing this hotel review off of the price .. obviously a lot of the people in the comments have truly unrealistic expectations when they’re only paying what is US $50. This is one of the cheapest hotels I have ever stayed in that is this quality. Yes there is no jam and there is no pool and it has a very basic but tasty breakfast with good coffee. there’s not a lot of frills or amenities, but the rooms are large very comfortable. I could’ve easily rated it lower because in our room, the air conditioner was not working properly, but they quickly and efficiently moved us to another room. So like I say if I was paying $200 a night US, then it would be a very different review but considering the price and the friendliness of the staff… This was an excellent excellent hotel, if you stayed at a hotel of this price in the United States. You couldn’t even get into a rundown motel six. The street is OK, and the parking is like a blocked down but we walked over to Paula Avenue, so it is in a great area overall as with any major, I wouldn’t necessarily venture out too much on your own. I was honestly kind of concerned because the price was so low but it is an excellent experience, it was actually $20 less than staying in Mogi last week at an ibis which is not nearly as...
Read moreThis Hotel is about a half mile, less than 1 km from the heart of the Paulista Avenue. You can walk (although its a steep hill) or take an Uber which shouldn't cost you more than R$8.00 reais. The rooms are very spacious and modern looking, bed is comfortable and they have cable TV with american and other international channels for convenience. Food in the restaurant was great as well. Overall a better option than staying at Hotels at Paulista Avenue in my opinion due the cost benefit relation, its relatively cheaper to stay here than a Hotel in the Paulista few blocks away. I booked directly on the hotel's website which was about 5-10 % cheaper than buying elsewhere, they have a promo code you can use in their website for direct bookings. Also, a nice working space inside the room, see photo. Highly...
