Pousada Porto Paraíso — Hotel in Região Imediata de Santos

The pousada is located secludedly from the main hustle of Guaruja in a safe and calm neighbourhood only a couple of hundred meters away from the beautiful beaches of Guaiuba and Tombo. Which is a blessing if you are looking for quite and relaxed holiday, but to us, my wife, has been a little stressful, because it was hard to find a restaurant serving vegan dishes or even proper vegan options. As an omnivorous you’ll have no problem finding some nice restaurants close by. But by Uber it is only a 10-15min ride to main Guaruja with a huge variety of different cuisines and bustling nightlife.

On arrival we were welcomed with great hospitality and kindness and invited for breakfast while we were waiting for the room to be ready. The rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast though has been delicious. Vegans should being their own plant milk as different kinds of cereals and fruits are available. The homemade doce de leite and yoghurt are must have while staying at the pousada!

Staff is taking great care of hygiene during this pandemic, for example alcohol gel, gloves and hygiene towels available on every table during breakfast.

This Inn is located in Guaruja, about a 5 minute walk from the beach. The staff and owners are super friendly and helpful, the rooms are very clean and functional, the breakfast is generous, and the pool is maintained a few times a day. There are only 12 rooms in the inn. It's mostly empty on weekdays and you can get a great deal. Within a 5 minute walking distance, there's a market and a few decent restaurants. Welcome on arrival was very friendly and service throughout the stay first rate. The room was comfortable with nice touches like a kettle with a selection of teas and coffees witb ample more available if needed. The breakfast is excellent, a very good selection of home made breads etc to choose from and enjoy. An honesty system operates 24/7 for refreshments, snacks and wines.
