Hotel "Kaliopa" — Hotel in Balchik

Lovely staff the lady was very friendly and helpful. We ordered pizzas for four people and all were big with lots of toppings. I ordered the muscles. Unfortunately they weren’t big muscles but small ones. Cream was poured over them but they didn’t come in a cream sauce. My son had spaghetti Bol which, he thoroughly enjoyed. It was a good size portion too. We also ordered a feta cheese side salad and garlic bread. Think we over dosed on bread with having the pizzas. When we asked for the bill the waitress told us what each item was so we understood what we were paying for. We were more than happy to leave a good tip especially when the actual person gets to keep it. We also popped back the next day and had chicken kebabs which were very tasty. If you like hot food ask for the hot version. Once again the waiter was very nice, friendly...

Just average . |The room was ok for a three star hotel. |The reception personnel was nice , friendly and fluent in English.|The shower tub was clogged the first two days, but the problem was solved quickly the moment I asked the front desk to take care of it.|The towels and bed linen were clean .The shower curtain had mold spots, but it didn’t bother me much cuz the tub was spacious.|They made my bed every day and got new towels too.|The only thing I disliked was the grumpy lifesaver by the pool. He use his broomstick to stop children from entering the pool!!!! Unacceptable ! The shower by the pool needs some fixing, like actually having shower heads .|Per total , the one week vacation we spent here was really nice . I liked the fact that they offer two sun beds and an umbrella...

Dirty, worn out and shabby. It must have been good when built, not now though!

Тhe towels are very old and worn out from the time, the shower was clogged, the toilet was dirty.

All the kitchen utensils were dirty, tried every single glass and spoon...

The glass for toilet brushes had sediments from previous usage.

The stay comes with a bonus of loud pool animation three times a day, when you want to have some rest.

The smoke from neighbouring rooms comes directly in and there's nothing you can do.

Staff was welcoming but cannot compensate.

Not recommended for family stay if you want to get rested.
