Family house Vachin — Hotel in Bansko

I stayed in family house vachin for a week in March with 2 other friends, due to the great price we were able to book a room each rather than sharing at most other resorts in Europe. The rooms were warm, and clean on arrival, Towels were changed mid week. ||||Each room had a two single beds, pushed together. Basic furniture, drawers, cupboard, chair, nightstand. A wet room with shower, toilet and sink.||||There are some facilities Kettle, cooker, toaster and a fridge/freezer on the lowest floor with plenty table space for sitting if you prepared a dinner.||||The owner Nickolay Vachin, is a nice guy who helped out with our needs, has good contacts around the town and available to help.||||It's about 15mins enthusiastic walking to the Gondola, and 10 mins to the main drag. Not really an issue in board boats, but may be an issue in ski boots.||||Nickolay informed us that he knows someone who can offer storage at the Gondola for 4lev per day. But as we're tough boarders we just carried so never used.||||There is reasonable WiFi, and a CRT, (old style no hdmi) TV, with local TV channels.||||Nickolay was able to arrange private transfers which were 70 euros each way.||||Would be happy to stay here again. The location is pretty close to the center and to the gondola (approximately 700-800 meters) & the host is extremely nice! We had a very nice welcoming, taking into account that we arrived late at night and he waited for us. What was very nice: the room looked exactly like in the pictures, it was very clean we had our towels changed in the 2nd day of our stay the host was very nice and adaptable to our needs Improvements: the heat to work constantly or to have your own option to turn it on or off (during the night, it was getting pretty cold in the room; the kitchen has no stove and it was also a bit dirty, maybe it can be cleaned daily as guests are using it daily

We had the pleasure of staying in this lovely house. The apartment was cozy, comfortable, and exactly as shown in the photos. It was very clean and warm, with a comfortable bed that made for a great night's sleep.

Our host, Nikolaj, was also our travel agent and provided excellent recommendations for everything we needed. The apartment is well-equipped with a kitchen, parking, an iron, a hairdryer, and complimentary coffee and tea.
