I have just spent a week at the Grand Hotel Nivana.  Whilst the rooms are fairly clean and we did not struggle to get a sun bed, but not sure I can say much more positive than that. There was supposed to be 2 bars, however the only bar ever open was the pool bar and when it got cold outside you were not permitted to take your drink to your room, the music was always incredibly loud at the pool area,  from 10am, Until 11pm and played only 10 ish songs per day on repeat, so it became quite irritating. Our room over looked the pool & bar and we could v clearly hear the music as it was so incredibly loud all the time Most of the staff were helpful enough. We were the only 2 English there for most of the week.  The other hotel guests (mainly eastern european) were downright rude,  pushing you aside to get to food and just pushing in front of you at the bar etc. The food was awful. I am vegetarian,  so assumed I would be limited,  but this was on a different level. I have travelled a lot and this was the worst I've ever had in over 20 different countries around the world. Breakfast,  the least offensive,  had cereal options, some very dubious eggs, (scrambled eggs are not usually orange?) bread and jam. The food was really greasy and I didn't dare try anything else after looking at the other options. There were no pastries or toaste. Lunch was indescribable,  I only ate watermelon.  Whilst the food was labelled it was just 1 or 2 words which did not give you any clue what was actually in the food. Dinner was worst still.  I asked the manager of the restaurant what was vegetarian,  he opened one of the food  warmers which had peas in and told me they were vegetables. He told me to eat salad.  When I asked about the labeled grilled tomatoes and what was inside them,  he didn't know and had to ask the chef,  who advised it was meat. So just repointed out the salad and peas to me. He was incredibly rude,  miserable, unprofessional, disrespectful,  condescending and would rather be sitting in the bar drinking than answering questions to a paying guest.  His photo is saved on this review,  for reference,  as there were 2 restaurant managers and the other was much less rude. There were very rarely any type of edible potatoes or food at all  just all very ambiguous greasy meat or vegetables in a random sauce and lots of unlabelled salads with very little information on what was inside anything. Whilst we understood that is was close to the end of the season,  they were packing up the outside chairs and tables around us on the last 2 days. We know that there were guests staying for at least another 10 days,  so felt a premature. There were various loose tiles around the floor of the pool and the wood around the pool bar had lots of loose slats.  Fairly dangerous

Nu recomand la nimeni. Feriti-va de aceasta mizerie! Overall garbage hotel, advertised as 150m from beach, it is a lot more (500m+), one of the girl receptionists does not speak english, room could be improved (see pictures), you do not have hot water at peak hours when everyone takes a shower, in 2 days of our stay the beach bar ran out of beer and never refilled, the staff is 99% nepalese/emigrants which do not speak english, TV wasn't working in the first 2 days (even after the receptionist confirmed that it has been fixed). You are paying for parking even though the hotel does not take any responsibility if anything happens. The hotel doesn't take any responsibility for things stolen from your room, they are "suggesting" to use the safe from the reception which you also have to pay. Do not recommend at all. Nobody should stay in this hotel.

I recently stayed at Hotel Nirvana and was genuinely and pleasantly surprised by the quality of my vacation. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The food deserves special praise — it was simply amazing. Every day there was a wide variety of dishes to choose from, catering to all tastes and preferences. Whether you enjoy traditional meals or something more international, there’s always something delicious waiting for you.

The rooms were clean, modern, and well-maintained. Housekeeping was done every three days, which kept everything tidy and comfortable. The furnishings were in great condition, and it was clear that the hotel had undergone a recent renovation. My room included both a television and a working air conditioner, which made the stay even more enjoyable, especially during the warmer days.

The pool area was another highlight — clean, spacious, and with plenty of sunbeds. Throughout the day, various activities were organized for both adults and children, which added a fun and lively atmosphere. In the evenings, the entertainment continued with either a lively disco or live music performances, creating a lovely way to wind down after a day in the sun.

The beach is only a 5 to 7-minute walk from the hotel. It’s easily accessible and well-equipped with loungers and sunshades, which are included in the price of the stay — a detail I truly appreciated.

Finally, I want to mention the hotel staff — everyone was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They were always ready to assist with a smile and made me feel comfortable throughout my entire stay.

For the price, Hotel Nirvana offers everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stress-free holiday with great food, clean accommodation, friendly service, and...

I read the reviews (have no idea how it has so many good reviews) of the hotel and description. The price and description matched my needs and I made a fatal mistake. My staying was from 20-27 Sep 2024. The service was nothing as described, no entertainment for kids, no ice cream, no snack bar, half of the hotel is closed due to "end of season" which weren't stated in the description. I complained to loveholidays, after, the man who didn't introduce himself approached me and gave out to me about the complaint, harassed me verbally in front of my kids and said that speacially for me ice-cream will be available and snack bar open but he can't help with entertainment as I should book my holidays in August rather than now. Also he clearly stated not to leave him any bad reviews as I will be in trouble. Turns out he was one from a management. The reception providing rude service as i asked for the toilet paper and man gave me 2 rolls saying "ill give you more as you eat a lot and go to toilet a lot". This is a 4* hotel, I have no idea how did they reach to that level as it is nothing like that. Health and safety, hygiene, room service are very poor. It would be a great B&B, but not a 4* hotel. If you are traveling as me with kids skip this hotel and book somewhere else. For example accross the road the 4* hotel had all the entertainment for the entire time we were passing by and no end of season for them. The stress I went through was unbelievable, and I meant to relax with my kids. Hopefully I've saved someones holidays by this review. Have all videos and photos as a proof and it's nothing like in the...
