The worst restaurant experience. My friend ordered fish dish. When it came to the table it was dry, unseasoned, grey in colour and tasted like mud. It hadnt been fresh in days, unlike the owners said and advertised. She returned the fish to the kitchen and took the cesar salad instead.. wich was even worse than the fish, if possible. Brown lettuce, 4 little pieces of chicken so dry, that you could hear cracking. When the time came for us to pay the bill, we kindly refused to pay the fish, but everything else we would pay.. the two owners did not accept that we wouldnt pay the fish, or if we didnt, they would make our waiter (who was fine btw, didnt do anything wrong) pay for it. And the best part was that one of the owners said that if my friend wouldnt have broke the fish (she took the bones out before tasting) he could have sold THE SAME FISH to the next customer...And this place advertizes fresh fish and great quality food. In the end we paid the fish with the rest of the bill. The owners comment was "if you dont like it, dont come again. I dont care" ..We went to a lot of restaurants in sunny beach, and everytime left a tip, if we enjoyed the food, but Restaurant Atol was a terrible experience. The food tasted like it was pucked up from the trashcan a week ago and the "customerservice"...
Read moreI booked this small hotel as I was on my own. Couldn't have asked for better. My room was smallish but clean.. Shower was small but lovely hot water whenever. Cleaners came everyday and we're always polite. And helpful. The staff in restaurant were friendly and never had any complaints about being half board. If I didn't want what was on menu. They always gave me an alternative. Yes salads were always for starters but good for you. I started to enjoy them after the first day. Chris the owner always came and asked if all was OK. Nothing to complain about. 1 minute walk to the strip and beach. Not noisy at all at night as it was at the bottom of the square and I was told that the meals at the restaurant were really nice and plenty of choice. Found a few kararaoke bars and not far from the hotel. Tony's karaoke bar was very popular and kept on going till 4 am. Always stopped for a slice of pizza on way home. There was never any problem on the streets at night and met up with lots of holiday makers who said they come back year after year. I was amazed at how drink. Food and shopping was so cheap. I found a bar who sold a pint of beer for 2 levs which was £1. And breakfast when I missed it in my hotel for £3 at a place called banana restaurant. English...
Read moreInitially when we first arrive we thought it was ok all though it was very outdated it was clean, the tele would be worth a lot of money as a antique very poor picture quality, We was in a standard room with a very slim balcony you could not swing a cat on it. My main problem was the food and the staff. When we got there they seemed fairly friendly I gave small tips I like to give a larger tip toward the end when they realised they were not having huge dips from us they hardly spoke or gave us the time of day. We was on a half board basics dont bother the evening meals were appalling towards the end of my stay I became most upset by the way the staff was and the meals they were serving us cheap and very nasty, who wants a salads every day as a starter?? and chocolate dry Swiss roll for pudding??most days?? who wants there starter served with there main meal so it goes cold? they treated us awful they seemed ok with people who came in off the streets, They complained no one was using the restaurant with service and food they dished out I am not surprised and that was a little better than the rubbish we had but to be honest the bacon in the...
