I had a terrible experience at this hotel. Despite booking and paying in advance through Booking.com, when I arrived, the owner told me there were no rooms available because she had given mine to someone else and didn’t update the listing.
When I expressed my frustration, instead of handling the situation professionally, the owner started yelling at me and made abusive, offensive comments about my nationality and age. The behavior was completely unacceptable and humiliating.
In the end, the owner returned my payment in cash and gave me a lift to another hotel. However, this does not excuse the shocking lack of professionalism and the abusive way I was treated as a guest.
The owner complained to me about how stressed she is from running this business and how “guests are causing her stress.” Honestly, if that’s the attitude, why run a hotel in the first place?
